4 Upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc Bikes That Will Steal the Show in 2025
4 Upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc Bikes That Will Steal the Show in 2025
CalendarPublished on December 21, 2024 by BikeJunction
With the expansion of the 650cc portfolio, Royal Enfield is expected to hit its full potential in 2025. If you felt that Royal Enfield had a busy year in 2024, be ready for a big change in the next year. There will be four 650cc bikes released by the famous two-wheeler manufacturer, including three new models and an upgraded version. All the information you want about the upcoming models is provided here. List of Soon To Be Launched Royal Enfield 650 cc BikesCurrently, Royal Enfield has five 650cc bikes in its lineup. It includes the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, and Bear 650. All of these, old and new, will be powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine. Here’s a sneak peek at the upcoming models. Royal Enfield Classic 650By launching the Classic 650, the most powerful model, Royal Enfield will expand the Classic line. The Classic 650 will be offered as a single-seater with an extra pillion seat, keeping its vintage appearance. The Classic 650 was first introduced by Royal Enfield to the European market during EICMA 2024 in Milan. It was then displayed at Motoverse 2024 in Goa. January 2025 is anticipated to see the launch of the new 650cc motorbike. In addition to spoked wheels, dual exhausts, dual-channel ABS, a Tripper navigation pod, adjustable clutch and brake levers and LED lighting. Moreover, the motorbike may have 43 mm Showa front suspensions with twin coils at the back. There will be four colour options: Bruntingthrope Blue, Vallum Red, Black Chrome, and Teal. Royal Enfield Bullet 650When the Bullet 650 was being tested, it was seen on Indian roads several times. The Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650 have the same frame, and they will be introduced in India by the middle of 2025. The general design is influenced by the Bullet 350 and the Classic 650, which still need to be released.  Alloy wheels are not anticipated to be an option for the Royal Enfield Bullet 650; wire-spoke wheels will be used. With a 6-speed gearbox, the bike will be driven by the same reliable 648cc twin-cylinder engine. Royal Enfield Himalayan 650The Royal Enfield Himalayan 650, which is internally designated "R2G," is perhaps the brand's largest 2025 launch. It will premiere in India during the October–November holiday season of 2025. Furthermore, the will be based on the Interceptor's trellis frame. Several features were visible in the spy photos, including spoked wheels, a split seat, USD front forks, and a side-swept exhaust pipe. However, it will have the same 648cc parallel-twin engine. The stylistic inspirations are probably taken from the Himalayan 450. According to rumours, when the Himalayan 650 is introduced in the nation, it will be the priciest Royal Enfield motorcycle. Royal Enfield Interceptor 650The Interceptor 650, which was spied on during testing, is getting an upgrade from Royal Enfield. The motorbike needs a significant overhaul to remain competitive because it has been around for so long. A number of new features and stylistic adjustments will be included with the 2025 Interceptor. The 648cc engine will remain the same, but the spy photos also showed a new suspension system and braking units. Before you go, check out the Hero Destini 125 LX Variant Leaked Before Launch: What to Expect!Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
Royal Enfield Bear 650 vs Interceptor 650: Features Breakdown
Royal Enfield Bear 650 vs Interceptor 650: Features Breakdown
CalendarPublished on November 16, 2024 by BikeJunction
Royal Enfield has been creating much excitement among middle-weight motorcycle buyers with its 650cc lineup. Powerful motorcycles at very affordable prices have thrilled customers. But two will stand out: the newly announced Bear 650 and perennial bestseller, the Interceptor 650. These bikes are made for an exciting set for riders looking for both performance, comfort, and a classic all-around design.  Here, we have compared the two bikes in detail by breaking down key features into subsections regarding engine and power, mileage, fuel tank, top speed, price range, and market value. What Are the Benefits of Scrambler Bikes?Scrambler bikes perfectly combine rugged off-road capability with street performance. Their design is ideal for a variety of terrains, whether city streets or light trails. They most often come with bigger wheels, meaning they provide better grip on much more varied surfaces.  In addition, their distinctive design attracts riders who like adventure and a little shine of vintage aesthetics. Due to their easy and loose riding posture, scramblers are also perfect for rides beyond several hours. Therefore, it is ideal for weekend rides or daily commutes. Engine and Power: Bear 650 vs Interceptor 650Both the Bear 650 and Interceptor 650 are powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine. This engine produces an identical output of 46.8bhp but differs in torque. RE Bear 650’s engine produces 56.5 Nm of torque, while the Interceptor 650’s engine produces 52.3 Nm.  Moreover, the engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and delivers a smooth, linear power delivery ideal for long rides and highway cruising. The Bear 650, however, is slightly tuned for more low-end torque, making it a better choice for city commuting. Mileage and Fuel Tank Capacity: Bear 650 vs Interceptor 650Bear 650 and Interceptor 650 share different fuel efficiency figures. Royal Enfield Bear 650 offers a mileage of 30 km/l, while the Interceptor 650 offers 23 Km/l. Under normal riding conditions, both models are quite fuel-efficient for their engine size and performance capabilities. However, bikes have the same fuel tank capacity with a slight difference. The Bear 650 offers its users a 13.7-litre fuel tank, while the Interceptor 650 offers 13 L of fuel tank capacity. Additionally, the Bear 650’s more relaxed riding position and gearing could give it a slight edge in fuel efficiency. Top Speed: Bear 650 vs Interceptor 650In terms of top speed, both the Bear 650 and Interceptor 650 are capable of hitting 160-170 km/h. The performance of both bikes is well-suited for highway cruising and fast rides. The Interceptor 650, with its sporty ergonomics and sharper throttle response, might feel a bit quicker on the straights, but the Bear 650’s upright stance makes it a better choice for leisurely long-distance touring. Price Range: Bear 650 vs Interceptor 650Royal Enfield Bear 650 comes in a price range of ₹ 3.39 - 3.59 Lakh in India (ex-showroom). The Bear 650's pricing may be influenced by its more rugged design and the intended market positioning.  However, the Interceptor 650 is priced between ₹ 3.49 - 3.80 Lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the best value-for-money motorcycles in the 650cc segment. Market Value: Bear 650 vs Interceptor 650Launched on November 5, 2024, the RE Bear 650, made for people who want to own scramblers with modern performance, is finding its place in the growing adventure and retro-style motorcycle segment. In contrast, the Interceptor 650 has been a market leader in the mid-weight segment since its launch, with its combination of retro looks, modern tech, and performance. Its strong sales reflect its popularity, and it enjoys high resale value. Before you go, have a look at the Leaked specs of the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb   Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta   Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
