Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been spotted again, this time on a test run in Tamil Nadu. The bike looks closer to a production-ready model. The upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 price in India is expected to be around 2.40 Lakh.
Royal Enfield has announced that its official launch might be in July. The Guerrilla 450 is ready to enter the competitive 400cc bike market. It aims to challenge popular models like the Hero Mavrick 440, Triumph Speed 400, KTM 390 Duke, and Harley-Davidson X440.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 spotted with a round LED headlight, a single-pod instrument console, a single-piece seat, and a wide fuel tank. To keep costs down, the Guerrilla 450 might use a different instrument cluster than the Himalayan 450. However, it seems to have the same tail setup as the Himalayan.
Moreover, the Guerrilla 450 uses telescopic front forks with gaiters, unlike the Himalayan’s USD forks. This bike features alloy wheels, allowing it to utilise tubeless tyres for improved performance. It also has a lower stance and a more road-oriented design.
This upcoming Royal Enfield bike is powered by the same Sherpa 450 engine. It has a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 39.47 bhp @ 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. Moreover, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox.
This Royal Enfield bike is expected to feature a 5-inch round TFT screen with connected technology, including app-based navigation. It will likely have LED lighting for the headlamp, indicators, and taillight, with advanced switchgear. The bike has been seen with road-going tyres from Ceat, highlighting its city-friendly design.
