Yamaha's YZF-R7 Set to Be Launch in India By Mid-2025: All You Need to Know!
CalendarPublished on January 29, 2025 by BikeJunction
Yamaha is reportedly planning to re-enter the large bike segment of India. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer plans to launch the YZF-R7 by the end of this year. This move will further strengthen Yamaha's Indian market scenario. The YZF-R7 is expected to be launched in India by mid-2025. The price is likely to be in the range of Rs 9 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). When it will be launched, it will compete with bikes like the Honda CBR650R, Triumph Daytona 660, and Kawasaki Ninja 650. Let's learn more about this Yamaha motorcycle in detail: Design Inspired by the R-SeriesThe YZF-R7 is inspired by the bigger brothers R1 and the R6. It's sleek, with the fairing over the side panels and the rear section raised upwards. Furthermore, these features add a dynamic as well as an aggressive look. Performance and FeaturesThe 2025 Yamaha YZF-R7 comes with a 689cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This engine delivers 73.4PS at 8,750rpm and 67Nm at 6,500rpm. Moreover, it is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that includes a slip-and-assist clutch. There is also an option available for an upshift-only quickshifter.  It has a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. This covers call and SMS notifications, turn-by-turn navigation, and further features. Apart from this, it has an electronic throttle, switchable traction & wheelie control, and riding mode. Chassis and SuspensionThis Yamaha motorcycle is built on a twin-spar aluminium frame and gives a solid ride. It has a fully adjustable 41mm KYB inverted fork at the front. At the back, there is a link-type monoshock that is preload and rebound damping adjustable. The YZF-R7 also boasts dual 298mm discs at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear, assisted by switchable dual-channel ABS. That ensures a safer and better ride. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the expected updates for the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
New Teaser: Yamaha reveals new R7, Tenere 700, NMax 155, XSR155, and MT-09 launches
New Teaser: Yamaha reveals new R7, Tenere 700, NMax 155, XSR155, and MT-09 launches
CalendarPublished on September 24, 2024 by BikeJunction
India Yamaha Motor recently unveiled a "Call Of The Blue 4.0" anthem, which included hints at a number of launches on different models, including XSR155, R7, Tenere 700, MT-09, and NMax 155. Though Yamaha has diverse motorcycles and scooters globally, it does not feature some of the models in India.  The latest launch offers include MT-03 and the older generation of YZF-R3. Now, the Tenere 700, NMax 155, XSR155, and MT-09 are included in the teaser, and many pundits are left guessing what this company's new launch could be. New Teaser from YamahaTraditionally, India Yamaha Motor had positioned a 150cc motorcycle as its flagship. Even with the launch of the R3 and MT-03, which addressed the gap in its portfolio, the company has also showcased models like the R7, MT-07, and MT-09 to select dealers, and only the two 300cc models could trickle to market. Yamaha showcased the MT-07, R1, and R7 at the recently concluded 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo. Scooters such as NMax 155 and Grand Filano are also on that list. To one's surprise, though, the MT-09 was completely absent. Yet in the "Call Of The Blue 4.0," there are a few models that Yamaha no longer sells in India. Their strategic presence might be designed as a teaser launch notification. Yamaha XSR155The XSR155 will be an all-new model for Indian markets. This neo-retro roadster shares its underpinnings and powertrain with the R15, which puts it in a good position to be sold here. Its design appeal alone will make a lot of chatter if it is launched here. Yamaha Tenere 700One of the biggest bike launches is much-awaited in India. The buzz has been building around the much-anticipated launch, and there is expected to be competition for models like the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE, Honda XL750 Transalp, and BMW F850 GS. A bike with a 689cc parallel-twin block engine, delivering about 75 horses and sporting a 16L fuel tank. Yamaha YZF R7The Yamaha R7 is the successor to the four-cylinder R6 and has been demonstrated twice recently in India. Unlike the other models, it hasn't been showcased close by. The twin-disc brake setup is just one identifiable feature. A similar engine to that of the Tenere 700 will power it. Yamaha MT-09The MT-09, an amazing and powerful bike, has been unveiled to Indian dealers and is believed to be launched officially soon. Its competitors are the Triumph Triple, Ducati Monster, and Kawasaki Z900. This bike features an 890cc three-cylinder engine producing around 120 horsepower and edgy and striking styling. Yamaha NMax 155The Yamaha NMax 155 maxi-scooter boasts a more aerodynamic fairing than the one on sale in India. It draws the same 155cc liquid-cooled engine as the R15, developing 14 bhp and 14 Nm of torque—a very impressive figure for a mainstream scooter in India. It was on display at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo.Curious to know about the TVS Apache RR 310 vs KTM RC 390: What Is the Difference?Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
