Yamaha MT-09 Showcased at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
Yamaha MT-09 Showcased at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
CalendarPublished on January 22, 2025 by BikeJunction
A number of Yamaha India premium motorcycles were on display at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in Delhi. Additionally, the company hopes to introduce more this year. One of them is the high-end Yamaha MT-09. It is a middleweight sports bike that will be imported to India on its whole as CBUs (completely built units). Furthermore, pricing is anticipated to be premium, perhaps a little more than that of their direct competitors. Check the full details here. What to Expect?Yamaha Motor India debuted the MT-09, their newest 900cc motorcycle, at Auto Expo 2025. The naked streetfighter motorcycle may soon be available in India at a price of Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom). Three variants are available worldwide, including the Yamaha MT-09 Y-AMT and two variants with manual transmissions, the normal MT-09 and MT-09 SP. Engine and PerformanceThe naked sports bike MT-09 is powered by an 890cc, liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder engine. This setup produces a maximum power of 119PS and 93 Nm of torque. Additionally, the powertrain is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that is equipped with a bi-directional quick-shifter and a slipper clutch. Moreover, it has a six-axis IMU and a lot of electronics, which include slide & wheelie control, traction control, and more. This bike will compete with other middleweight naked motorcycles, such as the Ducati Monster BS6 SP and the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS. Features and UnderpinningThe MT-09 has a 5-inch TFT instrument console and can be connected to a smartphone using Yamaha's MyRide App for navigation and call/SMS notifications. Street, Sport, and Rain are the three ride modes available, in addition to two pre-programmed custom settings. Lean-sensitive traction control, cruise control, lean-sensitive ABS, self-cancelling indicators, and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) are all features of the MT-09. A gear-shift switch is also included on the left side of the handlebar of the Yamaha Automated Manual Transmission (Y-AMT) model. Before you go, check out the must-see concept bikes and scooters at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
Honda Patents New Roadster Bike to Rival Royal Enfield Hunter 350
Honda Patents New Roadster Bike to Rival Royal Enfield Hunter 350
CalendarPublished on January 21, 2025 by BikeJunction
A new motorbike design has been patented by Honda in India. This bike looks like the CB190R, which is a model that is sold in several foreign countries, and the Hornet 2.0. What matters here, though, is the motorcycle's revolutionary design. Moreover, this may directly compete with the TVS Ronin and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. More information from the patent image is provided here. New Neo-Retro Roadster in IndiaCertain parts of the engine resemble the CB190R, which Honda sells in a few international countries. Moreover, other characteristics, such as the chassis, exactly resemble the Hornet 2.0. However, as was already noted, design is the most crucial element in this case. It takes influence from the Honda CB650R and has a single-piece seat, a circular headlamp, and minimalistic bodywork. The bike has circular mirrors, a flat handlebar, disc brakes on both ends, a rear monoshock, and big USD forks. It is anticipated that all of the light will be LEDs, and the spherical blinkers will complement the motorcycle's overall look. Moreover, there is a swingarm-mounted number plate holder on the back. The muscular-looking, sculpted fuel tank, which melds with the stubby tail section, adds an even more visual look. Lastly, the instrument console is a circular unit that is mostly a semi-digital cluster. Price ExpectationsHonda will undoubtedly compete in the neo-retro segment, a reasonably priced motorcycle market occupied by the Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin. With its leading competitors on the market, the new bike will face fierce competition. Compared to the Hornet 2.0, which costs ₹1.40 lakh (ex-showroom), its pricing could be higher. We will be providing you with additional information about this bike shortly, so stay tuned. Before you go, check out the newly launched 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500 in India.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
2025 Honda Livo Launches in Three Colours at Rs 83,080 (Ex-Showroom)
2025 Honda Livo Launches in Three Colours at Rs 83,080 (Ex-Showroom)
CalendarPublished on January 21, 2025 by BikeJunction
Honda has been upgrading its bikes and scooters at a rapid pace. The Livo, which is released at Rs 83,080 ex-showroom, is the most recent to receive the facelift. With a few significant upgrades, the 2017 Honda Livo joins a crowded market that includes the Hero Passion, Splendor, and other TVS competitors. Additionally, the bike is now OBD2B compliant. More information on the 2025 Honda Livo can be found here. What’s New?The updated design of the Honda Livo gives it a sportier appearance. The motorbike has a short bikini fairing and a muscular tank with sharp tank wraps. Pearl Igneous Black with Orange Stripes, Pearl Igneous Black with Blue Stripes, and Pearl Siren Blue are the three colour options. The standard Drum model of the 2025 Honda Livo with OBD2B compliance has a starting price of Rs 83,080 (ex-sh). Comparatively, the disc variant is priced at Rs 85,878 (ex-sh).  Specifications and FeaturesDue to commuter origins, this Honda model has a traditional pillion grab rail and a long, single-piece seat. The primary feature is its fully digital instrument cluster, which displays a wide range of data, including the distance to empty (DTE), ECO indication, gear position indicator, service due indicator, and real-time mileage. Moreover, an engine cut-off function on a side stand sensor is one of the other noteworthy enhancements.  Coming to its powertrain, it has the same 109.51cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that can produce 8.7 bhp and 9.3 Nm. Additionally, this setup is linked to a 4-speed gearbox. Like the majority of modern bikes in its class, its engine is now OBD2B compatible as well. Also, the 2025 Livo retains the same 18-inch alloy wheels with 80/100 tyres, dual rear shock absorbers, RSU telescopic front forks, and CBS (Combi Braking System). Before you go, check out the 2025 Yamaha Tenere 700 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
