    Latest YAMAHA YZF-R7 Updates

New Teaser: Yamaha reveals new R7, Tenere 700, NMax 155, XSR155, and MT-09 launches
New Teaser: Yamaha reveals new R7, Tenere 700, NMax 155, XSR155, and MT-09 launches
CalendarPublished on September 24, 2024 by BikeJunction
India Yamaha Motor recently unveiled a "Call Of The Blue 4.0" anthem, which included hints at a number of launches on different models, including XSR155, R7, Tenere 700, MT-09, and NMax 155. Though Yamaha has diverse motorcycles and scooters globally, it does not feature some of the models in India.  The latest launch offers include MT-03 and the older generation of YZF-R3. Now, the Tenere 700, NMax 155, XSR155, and MT-09 are included in the teaser, and many pundits are left guessing what this company's new launch could be. New Teaser from YamahaTraditionally, India Yamaha Motor had positioned a 150cc motorcycle as its flagship. Even with the launch of the R3 and MT-03, which addressed the gap in its portfolio, the company has also showcased models like the R7, MT-07, and MT-09 to select dealers, and only the two 300cc models could trickle to market. Yamaha showcased the MT-07, R1, and R7 at the recently concluded 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo. Scooters such as NMax 155 and Grand Filano are also on that list. To one's surprise, though, the MT-09 was completely absent. Yet in the "Call Of The Blue 4.0," there are a few models that Yamaha no longer sells in India. Their strategic presence might be designed as a teaser launch notification. Yamaha XSR155The XSR155 will be an all-new model for Indian markets. This neo-retro roadster shares its underpinnings and powertrain with the R15, which puts it in a good position to be sold here. Its design appeal alone will make a lot of chatter if it is launched here. Yamaha Tenere 700One of the biggest bike launches is much-awaited in India. The buzz has been building around the much-anticipated launch, and there is expected to be competition for models like the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE, Honda XL750 Transalp, and BMW F850 GS. A bike with a 689cc parallel-twin block engine, delivering about 75 horses and sporting a 16L fuel tank. Yamaha YZF R7The Yamaha R7 is the successor to the four-cylinder R6 and has been demonstrated twice recently in India. Unlike the other models, it hasn't been showcased close by. The twin-disc brake setup is just one identifiable feature. A similar engine to that of the Tenere 700 will power it. Yamaha MT-09The MT-09, an amazing and powerful bike, has been unveiled to Indian dealers and is believed to be launched officially soon. Its competitors are the Triumph Triple, Ducati Monster, and Kawasaki Z900. This bike features an 890cc three-cylinder engine producing around 120 horsepower and edgy and striking styling. Yamaha NMax 155The Yamaha NMax 155 maxi-scooter boasts a more aerodynamic fairing than the one on sale in India. It draws the same 155cc liquid-cooled engine as the R15, developing 14 bhp and 14 Nm of torque—a very impressive figure for a mainstream scooter in India. It was on display at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo.Curious to know about the TVS Apache RR 310 vs KTM RC 390: What Is the Difference?Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
Yamaha FZ FI vs Honda SP160: Which 160cc Bike is Better?
Yamaha FZ FI vs Honda SP160: Which 160cc Bike is Better?
CalendarPublished on November 17, 2024 by BikeJunction
Among all the categories present in the motorcycle market, the 160cc is one of the toughest to choose from. Its two most popular and well-known contestants are the Honda SP160 and Yamaha FZ FI, considered to be among the best under 1.5 Lakh. The Honda SP160 starts from Rs. 1.19 to 1.23 Lakh, and the FZ FI is around 1.16 Lakh. Both the bikes look good, work well, and are meant for daily usage. They have some special qualities that make them distinct. Let's go through both to help you decide which is better for you. Stylish Design and FeaturesBoth bikes are modern and considerably attractive. The Honda SP160 has a pointed headlight, a very sporty exhaust, and a quite strong fuel tank. It also comes in six bright colours, such as Matte Marvel Blue and Pearl Spartan Red. Yamaha FZ FI is simple and sporty with strong features. Its two colors are Matte Cyan and Metallic Black. Although Yamaha FZ FI has fewer shades, it is stylishly new-looking. Another interesting point is that the FZ FI is lighter by two kilograms instead of being heavier than before. The SP160 has a digital instrument panel, LED lights, and a hazard switch. Yamaha FZ FI features include single-channel ABS, a wide radial tyre, and a single-piece seat. Both bikes have many features, but the Honda SP160 has a few more advanced things, like a gear position indicator and a clock. Engine Performance & HandlingHonda SP160 comes with a 162.71 cc OBD 2-complaint engine that delivers 13.27 bhp and 14.58 Nm of torque. Moreover, this Honda bike has telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear end. Also, it has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and delivers a mileage of 45 Kmpl. This provides stability and comfort during long-distance touring as well as daily commuting. On the other hand, the Yamaha FZ FI is equipped with a relatively smaller 149cc engine that produces 12.23 bhp and 13.3 Nm of torque. Though marginally less powerful, the performance is silky and dependable. Furthermore, the Yamaha FZ FI uses a similar suspension setup but weight just 135 kg. Its 13-litre fuel tank and lightweight design make it easy to handle in city traffic.  Safety and BrakingThe premium variant of the Honda SP160 has single-channel ABS and front and rear disc brakes. The base version has a rear drum brake. However, the Yamaha FZ FI offers disc brakes on both wheels as standard. It also comes with a side-stand engine cutoff, enhancing safety. While both bikes ensure good braking performance, Yamaha’s dual disc setup is more reassuring. The Final ThoughtsBoth the Honda SP160 and Yamaha FZ FI are excellent commuter motorcycles. The Honda SP160 is the better choice if you want more power and modern features. However, if you value lightweight design and smoother handling, go for the Yamaha FZ FI. Think about your daily needs and preferences before deciding. Both bikes deliver value and promise a reliable riding experience. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the recently launched KTM’s off-road bikes lineup.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb   Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta   Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter

With its mixed toughness and rugged adventure feel combined with modern flair, Tenere has been proven to display off-road agility with comfortable, easy street usability. It has a premium suspension, an electronic upgrade, and a tough frame.  The Tenere 700 is advanced and ready to ride long distances for an adventure tourer. Unique styling with advanced improvements makes this Yamaha Tenere 700 boast performance in the adventure bike market. Moreover, it is bound to be nothing less than a great bike.  Quick Highlights:The vibrant design adds modern appeal.Versatile performance for varied riding conditions.Valuable features enhance the overall riding experience.A vast fuel tank improves long-distance riding.Vibrant TFT screen with rally-style display.Yamaha has unveiled the 2025 version of its renowned adventure bike, the Tenere 700. The model line will receive better styling and new features for the upcoming year. Subtle Styling Tweaks and Major Upgrades The styling updates are very subtle, but this is the first major design change since the bike's launch in 2019. The bodywork has been slightly revised and comes with new LED lights. The 16-litre fuel tank has been shifted a little forward to enhance balance and reduce top heaviness. The seat design has also been updated for comfort. The Japanese manufacturer has retained the bike's double-cradle frame in its original form, although the silencer bracket and luggage mounts have been tweaked. The footpegs are wider, too, and the Tenere 700 has updated its suspension system. The fully adjustable version gets 210mm of travel with 43mm upside-down forks and a remote adjuster at the rear for 200mm of travel. The well-known 698cc parallel-twin motor has been refreshed and features a ride-by-wire throttle. As such, the motor gains two riding modes - Sport and Explorer. Additionally, a shorter air intake duct improves the torque curve. The bike has been rebuilt on the six-speed gearbox. A new clutch cover design helps to make less contact with the leg during rides. In terms of features, the new Tenere 700 has a 6.3-inch TFT screen that resembles a digital rally book. It also includes a standard USB-C charging port, and the switchgear has been completely redesigned. Yamaha has yet to speak out about the new Tenere 700, and sources say it is way above the price of other upgraded features. The company plans to open pre-bookings in Europe next year. Before you go, have a look at the New Hero Xpulse 210 Previewed Before EICMA 2024 Launch.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb   Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta   Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
