Auto Expo 2023: All the Scooters Launched at the Event

On January 18, Wednesday, Auto Expo 2023 in Greater Noida came to an end after welcoming up to 6.36 lakh people over the course of around five days. Since the Auto Expo's inaugural event, which took place in the 1980s, this attendance is the largest it has ever witnessed.

After a hiatus of nearly 3 years, the Auto Expo was finally held this year. In February 2020, shortly before the Covid-19 epidemic started wreaking devastation over the world, the previous Auto Expo was held. But unfortunately, the following Auto Expo edition had to be delayed because of the pandemic.

It is, therefore, not surprising that this year's event, against the backdrop of a steep decline in positive cases, was likely to cause quite a stir. “Auto Expo - The Motor Show 2023 successfully concluded today on 18th January 2023. The Show saw a turnout of 6,36,743 visitors, which is the highest ever visitor turnout at Auto Expo," said Vinod Aggarwal, President of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.

Among the many other exciting unveilings and launches at the event, electric scooters gained significant limelight. Following, we have enlisted all the scooters unveiled and launched at the biennial event this year.

At Auto Expo 2023, Adishwar Auto Ride India's multi-brand channel MotoVolt debuted two new 350 cc maxi-scooters under the Zontes brand. The Zontes 350 E and 350 D from the Chinese manufacturer, which was just introduced in India, were on display at the auto show. They should be introduced in India later this year and might cost approximately Rs. 5 lakhs. The two scooters have the same technical specs and are constructed on the same platform. Both vehicles, however, differ in terms of their looks, features, and—more significantly—wheelbases. The scooter also includes LED illumination, a 5-inch instrument dashboard, ABS with traction control, and a sizable front windscreen that is electrically adjustable. It enhances the EV's safety factor in light of current safety issues with EV batteries. In addition, the scooter may be utilised in a range of circumstances thanks to its removable batteries. By the conclusion of the fiscal year 2022–2023, the company plans to increase the current 100+ physical touchpoints in its distribution footprint to more than 250.
