KTM has launched its latest big bike lineup in India with four exciting models. These include the KTM 890 Duke R, the KTM 1390 Super Duke R, the KTM 890 Adventure R, and the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. The new lineup reflects KTM's commitment to performance, speed, and innovation. These bikes are designed to deliver thrilling rides and feature advanced technology. Let’s look at each model in more detail. KTM 890 Duke RKTM launched the 890 Duke R in India at Rs. 14.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This bike has sharp styling, typical of KTM’s street bikes, with an angular LED headlight, bold colours, and an orange-coloured frame. This bike is powered by an 890cc, liquid-cooled engine that generates 121 bhp and 99 Nm of torque. Moreover, this engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The 890 Duke R has a tubular steel frame and features a WP Apex front fork and monoshock. It has advanced electronics, including lean-sensitive traction control and cornering ABS. Furthermore, the bike also offers three ride modes and an optional Track mode for racing. KTM 1390 Super Duke RKTM 1390 Super Duke R is priced at Rs. 22.96 lakh (ex-showroom). This flagship model has a 1,350cc, LC8 V-twin engine producing a massive 190 bhp. The engine has updates like a new camshaft, a redesigned airbox, and larger throttle bodies, which makes it incredibly powerful. Moreover, it has a strong tubular steel frame and a smaller subframe for a compact design. The 1390 Super Duke R runs on 17-inch Michelin Power GP tyres and has WP semi-active suspension with five modes. It features Brembo Stylema brakes. Furthermore, there are advanced electronics, too, like riding modes, traction control, and lean-sensitive ABS. Meanwhile, its Bluetooth-enabled TFT screen houses all the settings and provides key information. KTM 890 Adventure RKTM also introduced the 890 Adventure R in India at Rs. 15.80 lakh (ex-showroom). This bike is inspired by KTM’s Dakar racing models and has a rugged design suited for off-roading. It has an 889cc twin-cylinder engine, making 103.2 bhp and 100 Nm. Additionally, the engine connects to a six-speed gearbox with a quickshifter and slipper clutch. This adventure bike has electronic aids, including cornering ABS, traction control, and multiple ride modes. The TFT screen provides turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone compatibility. The WP Apex suspension and Pirelli Scorpion STR tyres ensure stability on rough terrains, while the tall stance adds comfort for long rides. KTM 1290 Super Adventure SKTM 1290 Super Adventure S is priced at Rs. 22.74 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s a large and powerful adventure bike with a 1301cc twin-cylinder engine producing 158 bhp. The tall design and bulky bodywork make it ideal for long trips and off-road adventures. This bike is packed with electronic features, including ride modes, traction control, and cruise control. The seven-inch TFT display allows smartphone connectivity. Indeed, this was the most amazing week of 2024, with several new revelations and launches at the EICMA show in Milan. If you couldn't keep up with all the excitement, here is a quick recap. So what is basically EICMA? “EICMA (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori) is the world's premier motorcycle trade show, held annually in Milan. It’s where manufacturers showcase their latest models, innovations, and concepts to the global biking community”.  Upgrades and launches this weekEICMA 2024 saw significant motorcycle unveilings, including the Royal Enfield Bear 650, KTM 390 Adventure R, and Aprilia Tuono 457. Hero Motocorp unveiled its new Karizma XMR 250 and Xtreme 250R, while Royal Enfield unveiled its first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6, with a launch slated for 2026. KTM also showcased the 390 Adventure R and more. New Hero bikesHero Motocorp unveiled a major launch at EICMA, a sea of new and updated motorcycles. Headliners include the all-new Karizma XMR 250, Xtreme 250R, and Xpulse 210. The company also presented the 2025 versions of the Mavrick 440 and Karizma XMR 210. However, showstoppers at Hero's stand were the unveiling of design sketches of the Xpulse 421 concept. Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 electric bikeRoyal Enfield has launched its first-ever production electric motorcycle, known as the Flying Flea C6, at EICMA. The bike has an aluminium frame coupled with a magnesium battery casing that is light in weight and provides great performance. The Flying Flea C6 is powered by a modern, contemporary safety feature such as traction control and cornering ABS. It has the first Royal Enfield model with such technology on board, and it's all set to roll out into the market in 2026. Aprilia Tuono 457 unveiledThe brand showcased at the EICMA 2024 the much-awaited Tuono 457-essentially the version of the sportbike RS 457. Like the RS 457, the Tuono will be manufactured locally; chances are that its prices will be lower than those of their sportbike models. Royal Enfield Bear 650 launchedRoyal Enfield launched the scrambler version of the Interceptor 650, called the Bear 650. Though sharing the same platform with the INT, it features some important updates in the chassis, wheels, suspension, dimensions, and design in general. The bike starts at a price tag of Rs. 3.39 lakh to Rs. 3.59 lakh. Alongside this, Royal Enfield rolled out the Classic 650; the official prices of the bike have yet to be announced. New KTM 390 motorcyclesKTM revealed its much-awaited, adventure-focused 390 models. The Austrian manufacturer featured the flagship 390 Adventure R model, which sported the biggest features and upscale components in the Indian lineup.
