In 2024, KTM India is ready to introduce its new 390 Adventure R and 390 Enduro R motorcycles at IBW. Following their initial appearance at EICMA earlier this year, the bikes will soon be accessible for purchase in India. Furthermore, it has not yet been discovered, if KTM would bring the 390 SMC R supermoto to India.
The 2024 390 Adventure lineup comes with a fresh design, borrowing heavily from rally bikes. The ADV stands out with its bold front fairing, distinctive horseshoe-shaped LED DRLs, and stacked projector headlamps. Moreover, the tech modifications include a vibrant colour TFT display with built-in Bluetooth connectivity, adding both style and functionality.
The revised series has a number of models that are attractive to both touring riders and off-road fans. With modern features, including a new H50 TFT display, cornering ABS, and Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), the 390 Adventure R steals the show. Overall, with tube-type tyres and spoked wheels measuring 21 inches up front and 18 inches down back, it offers superior off-road performance.
Built on a sturdy steel trellis frame, the 390 Adventure R is geared for serious adventure. It gets fully adjustable WP front forks and a rear offset monoshock, both offering 230 mm of suspension travel. The motorcycle is powered by a 399 cc liquid-cooled LC4c engine, shared with the latest 390 Duke. Additionally, with 45.3 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 39.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, this engine ensures power on demand. A six-speed transmission with a bi-directional quickshifter enhances convenience, allowing clutch-free gear shifts.
The standard 390 Enduro R brings rugged simplicity to the lineup. It has a hexagonal headlight, a flat seat for improved agility, and a simple flat cowl with built-in LED indicators. The bike has a long-travel suspension system with a rear monoshock and WP USD front forks. Its spoked wheels, which are 21 inches in front and 18 inches in back, include tube-type tyres for power on rough terrain. Lastly, disc brakes on both ends provide braking functions, and dual-channel ABS is used in addition.
