Royal Enfield is releasing its new model of the Himalayan range; Himalayan 450, featuring a more powerful engine. Of which, the launch is expected soon. The new model will have new & improved switchgear, digital display, and:
Currently, there is a 411 cc Himalayan in the market. This upcoming bike will compete with other bikes in the adventure segment, including KTM 390 Adventure. In addition, the company will launch many more motorcycles, including the Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650 and the updated Bullet 350, recently.
Design of the Himalayan 450
The spy pictures of the Himalayan 450 leaked online reveal a new digital display, switchgear and more. A new liquid-cooled engine and a new rotary kill switch can also be seen in the pictures. So, bike enthusiasts can expect the release of the bike sooner.
Himalayan 450 is currently undergoing final validation tests. Using cardboard instead of black camo on the bodywork and windscreen in the design shows more of the bike's final appearance. However, the use of cardboard around the bodywork could also be a way to conceal specific details until the official launch.
In the attempt to hide the body panels, some details are still visible and could offer some clues about the new model. Unfortunately, further information about the Himalayan 450 is not available at the moment, but as more details emerge, a more comprehensive analysis of the bike's features and specifications would be possible.
Technical Specifications of Himalayan 450
Himalayan 450 proves to provide the ultimate riding experience with the Royal Enfield. It comes with some fascinating features and upgrades. The LED headlight is similar to that observed in a Super Meteor 650 bike. The 21-inch wire-spoke wheel comes with an exclusively designed tube-type tire by CEAT, adding more reliability to your trip. The sleek blacked-out cylinders and casings of the liquid-cooled engine give it a well-finished look.
The photos reveal details and provide a better view of the brand-new switchgear. This switchgear sets it apart from any other Royal Enfield on the market today. There's a small button situated just beneath the rotary kill switch, and its use is still unknown. It might be a switch that activates the circular display's menu, changes modes, or perhaps deactivates the rear ABS. This impressive unit will incorporate high-tech features such as Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
The metal bash plate present underneath the engine suggests that the bike will be able to handle rough roads and water crossings. This makes it an ideal choice for adventure riders. The seats and grab rail look similar to the present in the previous Himalayan model. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is an exciting new model expected to launch sometime this year.
