Suzuki Motorcycles India has launched the 2025 lineup of the Gixxer with ex-showroom prices beginning at Rs. 1.37 lakh. Additionally, the bikes now have new colour options and are OBD 2B compliant. Let’s have a look at their details. What’s New?Prices for the upgraded Gixxer and Gixxer SF are Rs. 1.37 lakh and Rs. 1.47 lakh, respectively. Every pricing is ex-showroom. Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Oort Gray/Metallic Lush Green, and Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White are the three new colour options available for the Gixxer and Gixxer SF. The list of features and specs has not changed, with the exception of OBD-2B technology and new colours.  Specs and FeaturesThe 155cc, air-cooled engine that powers these fast commuter motorcycles generates 13.41 bhp and 13.8 Nm, and it is coupled to a five-speed transmission. The faired Gixxer weighs a little more at 148 kg than the naked one, which weighs 141 kg. Moreover, both have the same fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.  Single-channel ABS, a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, and LED headlamps and tail lamps are among the features that both bikes have. Additionally, it is complemented by a diamond-style chassis, 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic forks, a monoshock, and a single disc brake at both ends. Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India, Kenichi Umeda, said, "With the launch of OBD-2B compliant motorcycles, we are aligning with the upcoming government regulations while delivering the performance in our products. An oil-cooled, four-valve, 160.3 cc FI DTS-i engine powers it. At 7,250 rpm, this engine can produce a maximum torque of 14.6 Nm and 17.03 bhp at 9,000 rpm. Additionally, a five-speed gearbox is included with this unit. The streetfighter gets fitted with a gas-charged rear monoshock and upside-down front forks by Bajaj. With dual-channel ABS and 17-inch alloy wheels, the NS160 has a 300 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc. Yamaha FZ X:A tough street bike, the Yamaha FZ X starts at ₹1.36 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in three distinct variants with five different colour choices. The Chrome model, which costs ₹1.40 lakh (ex-showroom), is the most expensive. It has a 149 cc air-cooled, two-valve engine that produces 13.3 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm and 12.23 horsepower at 7,250 rpm. Also, a five-speed gearbox is attached to this unit.  The bike has a seven-step adjustable monoshock at the back and 41 mm telescopic front forks. Moreover, the 17-inch alloy wheels of the FZ X include a 220 mm rear disc and a 282 mm front disc. Along with traction control and a side-stand engine cut-off, single-channel ABS is also offered. Suzuki Gixxer:With two models and three colour options, the Suzuki Gixxer starts at ₹1.31 lakh (ex-showroom). The Gixxer costs ₹1.43 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec Ride Connect variant. Additionally, a Bluetooth-enabled digital cluster gives it smartphone connectivity. It has a 155 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine coupled with a five-speed gearbox. This allows the street bike to produce 13.41 bhp and 13.8 Nm of torque. Actually, the Gixxer shares parts with the Gixxer SF sports bike. Also, it has disc brakes on all sides and is mounted on 17-inch cast alloy wheels. Furthermore, it is equipped with telescopic forks in front and a swing arm handle suspension in the rear. Honda Hornet 2.0:The Honda Hornet 2.0 comes in a single configuration with four colour options and starts at ₹1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). An 184.4 cc single-cylinder engine coupled to a five-speed gearbox powers it. At 8,500 rpm, this engine produces 17.03 bhp, and at 6,000 rpm, it produces 15.9 Nm of torque. Moreover, Hornet 2.0 features a rear monoshock and inverted front forks and is constructed around a diamond frame.
