We rode the Brava Blue variant, and the colour combination was eye-catching. The mix of blue and white panels gave it a fresh and bold look. In our opinion, this is the best option among all the 6 colours.
The overall build quality is impressive with a solid feel. The left-side ‘Home’ button has a firm action, which ensures durability over time. The joystick for navigation is unique and useful, but it may take some getting used to. Moreover, the compact mirrors give the bike a sleek look, though riders might prefer a wider field of view. The Guerrilla 450 has a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 40 bhp and 40 Nm, which makes it the fastest 400cc modern roadster. While testing, the acceleration was nice and we pushed the bike upto 145 kmph of top speed. The Guerrilla 450 shines on highways. It easily maintains 100-120 kmph without feeling stressed.
The engine was still smooth with minimal vibrations. Its refined engine delivers power without feeling overwhelming. In city conditions, the bike offers a soft and refined ride, especially when you keep the engine in its optimal rev range. It rewards an engaged riding style, which makes gear shifts precise and responsive. In traffic, this ensures you stay connected to the road with better control.
On big motorcycles, you can often feel the heat on your legs when stopped at signals. However, the advanced liquid-cooled system on the Guerrilla 450 works efficiently to manage temperatures. It ensures a much cooler and more comfortable ride.
The bike returned 25 kmpl in city conditions. You can expect a range of around 275 km due to its 11 litre fuel tank. On highways, the fuel economy drops to around 21 kmpl when ridden aggressively.
The Guerrilla 450 has a firm suspension setup. It absorbs minor bumps well, but larger ones can be felt. At high speeds, the ride feels stable, but on uneven roads, the rear suspension can feel stiff. The bike handles well despite its size and weight. It turns quickly and feels agile, but the longer wheelbase makes U-turns tricky in tight spaces.
The moment you sit on the Guerrilla 450, it feels like a big bike. The handlebar is within easy reach, and the seat is wide and comfortable. The footpeg positioning is just right, which makes long rides comfortable. The bike is designed for comfort on highways, but city riding is manageable too.
The Ceat tyres provide good grip on dry roads. Moreover, the braking system is strong and progressive. The front brake has a good bite, but the rear brake feels a bit weak. The dual-channel ABS ensures safe stopping power.
