Two-Wheeler Sales Report February 2023: Reviewing Sales of 5 Major Brands

As the new month begins, let’s take a look at what the industry leaders’ sales numbers looked like for February 2023. We are taking a look at 5 Major brands, including - Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor Company, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India and Royal Enfield.

Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto saw a total domestic 2-wheeler sales growth of 25%, with 1,20,335 units sold this year, as compared to 96,523 units sold last year. This growth might be because of the ongoing wedding season and an uptick in the urban market.

On the other hand, Exports saw a sales dip of 37%, with 1,15,021 units sold in February 2023 compared to 1,82,814 units in February 2022. Overall exports also saw a decrease in sales of 38%, with 1,26,935 units sold this year, resulting in an overall total sales decline of 11% for Bajaj Auto. This might be due to the challenging macroeconomic conditions in Southern Asia, Latin America and Africa.

Hero MotoCorp

Hero MotoCorp was the second company to have double-digit growth this month.
