June was an exceptionally exciting month, filled with several announcements and important news about the bike and scooter segments. Now that July is here, we have been compiling a complete list of bikes and scooters expected to be launched this month. Let us have a look at each one of them.
Royal Enfield is preparing to launch the Guerrilla 450 later this month, on July 17, 2024. It is powered by the familiar 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder Sherpa engine derived from the Himalayan 450. Its 40PS and 40 will pack the bike in Nm of torque, though possibly tuned differently for the roadster variant. It was teased for the first time yesterday, making its official debut.
The first one expected to be launched this month is the much-awaited Bajaj CNG bike, which is scheduled to be launched on July 5, 2024. This iconic model is the world's first CNG-powered motorcycle. New Spy rifles spotted during recent testing have revealed important details, including a study on bicycle ergonomics.
Hero is set to launch an updated version of the Destini 125. This new scooter boasts a design that is more in line with its family-oriented style. Moreover, Hero has added interesting design elements to enhance the scooter's look and feel. These details surfaced yesterday after pictures of the scooter were posted online.
Recently, Ducati teased the Hypermotard 698 Mono on its social media platforms, hinting that its launch is imminent. The bike is powered by a 659cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 77.5PS and 63Nm, making it the most powerful engine in the world and is expected to arrive in India at a pre-showroom price of around Rs 13 lakh.
BMW plans to launch the CE 04 electric scooter in India on July 24, 2024. Keeping the maxi-scooter configuration, it will be powered by a motor delivering a maximum output of 31kW or 42PS and 62Nm, claimed as a speed maximum of 120km. With an 8.9 kWh battery pack, it can provide a range of 130km. The pre-showroom price is expected to be around Rs 1.5 lakh, putting it among the most expensive e-scooters in India.
