Suzuki Motorcycle India achieved the milestone of producing the five millionth unit of its Access 125 scooter. The number was achieved from its Kherki Dhaula plant situated in Gurugram, Haryana. The Suzuki Access 125 was the first 125cc scooter segment at the time of its launch in 2007. The milestone of 50 lakh units took around 16 years to achieve.
The Suzuki Access 125 is a popular scooter model manufactured by Suzuki Motorcycle India. It has an 8.7 hp of power, 124cc engine, which provides sufficient power for city commuting. The scooter currently offers three different variants. The Access 125 powers a 124cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces a torque of 10Nm.
Kenichi Umeda, the Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India, expresses his excitement and pride in reaching a significant milestone with Access 125. He expressed the company's commitment to delivering a quality product. Umeda also emphasized that the Access 125 is designed to keep in mind the needs of Indian customers.
There are three variants of the Access on offer – Standard, Special Edition, and Ride Connect Edition. They have a price ranging between Rs 79,400 to Rs 89,500 Ex-showroom, Delhi. The Suzuki Access 125 rivals other 125cc commuter scooters such as the Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125.
