The RC 125, the smallest sportbike made by KTM, has been spotted testing in another country. However, it is unlikely to be released before 2024 because the test mule doesn’t appear to be entirely production-ready.
The RC 125 was untouched for a very long time until receiving its most important modification in October 2021. Even while the current model still has a contemporary appearance and feel, the Austrian company is already hard at work, giving it a significant aesthetic and technical upgrade. The test mule was obviously using temporary bodywork, maybe to conceal the final layout. However, it is obvious that the 2024 model will have a sportier and more modern appearance than the current bike’s heftier exterior look.
The changes are more noticeable and profound on the mechanical front. For instance, the motorcycle’s engine housing is different, suggesting that its personality and refinement have changed.
