Royal Enfield has revealed the FT450 Flat Tracker at the Motoverse 2024 event. Based on the Guerrilla 450, this motorcycle is specially built for flat-track racing. It will be used at the Royal Enfield Slide School races and for other racing events worldwide. Let’s have a detailed look at this Royal Enfield bike:
The FT450 Flat Tracker features a retro flat tracker design with minimalist bodywork and unique graphics. It has a cowl instead of an LED headlamp and a custom tail section with a flat seat. Moreover, the bike comes with 17-inch wire-spoke wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres for better grip.
Royal Enfield has equipped the FT450 with a custom exhaust and Powertronic Fuel X Autotune. This system optimises fuel injection, which enhances the bike's performance on the track. This flat tracker bike is not like regular motorcycles, it only features the rear brake for haldling and sliding.
RE FT450 is powered by the same 452cc liquid-cooled engine used in the Guerrilla 450. The engine produces 40bhp and 40Nm of torque. Moreover, it is paired with a six-speed gearbox which has been tuned for flat-track performance.
Royal Enfield FT450 is a custom-built flat tracker designed for Slide School events and international racing. Its bold design and racing features add excitement to Royal Enfield's lineup. This motorcycle highlights Royal Enfield's focus on both retro style and advanced racing capabilities.
The FT450 is set to make waves in the flat-track racing world. Its unique design, powerful engine, and racing-specific features are sure to attract attention. Royal Enfield continues to innovate, blending tradition and performance in exciting new ways.
