After years of development, Royal Enfield introduced the Super Meteor 650 at EICMA 2022. The new motorbike is the manufacturer's premier cruiser, and it is anticipated that it will rank higher than the Continental GT 650. Following the conclusion of the dealership training, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will be released in India in the upcoming months. There will be two variations of the motorbike available: the Super Meteor 650 and the Super Meteor 650 Tourer.
The solo tourer version of the Super Meteor 650 will come in five colour schemes: Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey, and Interstellar Green. The Super Meteor 650 Tourer, the grand tourer model, will be offered in Celestial Red and Celestial Blue colour schemes.
The Super Meteor 650's engine is the same as that found in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. On the other hand, the head and the side panels are matte black and feature a substantially revised design. Nevertheless, it continues to have a maximum power output of 47 bhp @ 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 52 Nm @ 5,650 rpm.
The motorcycle's chassis is a steel tubular spine frame that is supported by twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the back and 43 mm upside-down forks up front. A 320 mm front disc and a 300 mm rear disc are responsible for stopping the bike. Dual-channel ABS is also included as standard.
A vast ecosystem of Genuine Motorcycle Accessories supports the motorcycle and its travelling potential. Bar end mirrors, deluxe footpegs, solo finishers, LED indicators, machined wheels, a deluxe touring dual-seat, a touring windscreen, a passenger backrest, deluxe footpegs, long-range panniers, a touring handlebar, and LED indicators are just a few of the available extras the bike is equipped with.
