Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Tested Again: Check out Details!

Shotgun 650 will feature the same engine as the current 650cc bikes. Royal Enfield has several motorcycles in the queue for the remaining part of the year. Recently, we have seen the induction and latest updates of the Himalayan 450, Bullet 350, Meteor 650 and others.

The Shotgun 650 has now been spotted on public roads once again. Further, we have some information about its design. The bike will feature a retro aesthetic, with a circular headlight surrounded by an attractive casing.

Additionally, it will come with a split seat configuration and a tubular grab rail setup on both sides. This will be Royal Enfield's fourth motorcycle in the 650cc category.

Similar to the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650, the Shotgun 650 will also be powered by a 648cc parallel-twin engine attached to a six-speed gearbox. It is likely that the power output of 47 bhp and torque output of 52 Nm from the aforementioned models will be retained for the new motorcycle.

The Shotgun will also come equipped with a twin-pod instrument cluster, with the larger pod. It is expected to display the speedometer, odometer, trip metre, digital fuel gauge, and other relevant information. The smaller pod will likely be used for the Tripper Navigation system.

Additionally, the Shotgun 650 will feature USD front forks, similar to the Super Meteor. Further, it will be equipped with a twin-shock absorber at the rear. The braking system may consist of a single front and rear disc with ABS. Furthermore, it will be mounted on alloy wheels wrapped in road-supportive tires.

Royal Enfield may also provide a variety of accessories for the Shotgun 650. The Meteor 650 is currently the most high-end and costly motorcycle from Royal Enfield. It is anticipated that the Shotgun will be positioned below it. However, the test bike appears to be close to the production version, indicating that it may be launched soon.
