The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has officially made its debut in Malaysia, expanding the brand’s range of adventure motorcycles in the region. This new model features a powerful 450cc engine designed to improve off-road and long-distance performance. It also features a robust design with advanced features such as reinforced suspension and modern electronics. The Himalaya 450 is designed for adventure seekers who value reliability and high performance.

Royal Enfield introduced the Himalayan 450 in Malaysia about nine months after its debut in India. Didi Group, the exclusive distributor of Royal Enfield in Malaysia, imports the bikes.
The KTM 390 Adventure rival is offered in three variants with five colours: Base, Pass and Summit. In Malaysia, the Himalayan 450 is priced between RM 30,600 (Rs. 5.87 lakh) to RM 32,200 (Rs. 6.17 lakh) in Malaysia. The base variant of Kaza Brown is priced at RM 30,600. The Pass variant is priced at RM31,100 (Rs 5.96 lakh) in Slate Himalayan Salt or Slate Poppy Blue. Offered in Hunley Black and Kamet White, the Summit variant is priced at RM31,500 (Rs 6.04 lakh) and RM32,200, respectively.
The Himalayan 450 is powered by Royal Enfield’s new 452cc Sherpa engine. This liquid-cooled single-cylinder power plant produces 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox and has a ride-by-wire throttle system.
Available in Malaysia, the Himalayan 450 flaunts the India-spec model with the same features and specifications, including the Showa suspension system and 21/17-inch wheels. In India, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 rivals the KTM 390 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure, Triumph Scrambler 400X and the BMW G 310 GS.
