Classic Legends recently launched the BSA Goldstar 650 in India. The ex-showroom prices range from Rs. 2.99 lakh to Rs. 3.35 lakh, depending on the colour choice. The motorcycle is offered in six different colours. Here is a brief overview of each option.
The simplest colour options are Insignia Red and Highland Green. These trims have the fuel tank and fenders finished in their respective colours. At the same time, most of the mirrors and engine parts are black except for the Midnight Black and Dawn Silver versions. Furthermore, this trim is priced at Rs. 3.12 lakh, and it offers similar designs to previous trims but with different special colors.
The Shadow Black variant is the most interesting, with an all-black theme for the body and wheel panels, including an all-black fuel tank—unlike other colours that have chrome stripes on the sides of the tank. That particular colour variant is priced at Rs. 3.16 Lakh respectively. The more expensive Legacy Edition option is priced at Rs. 3.35 Lakh and looks similar to Dawn Silver but adds chrome-finished mirrors, handlebars, bar ends and engine cases.
The Goldstar 650 is powered by a 652cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 45.6bhp and 55Nm, mated to a five-speed gearbox. It has an 18-17-inch spoke wheel arrangement that is suspended by telescopic forks at the front and dual springs at the rear. Braking is controlled by a single disc on either side of the bike's front and rear, and it is fitted with Brembo callipers. The motorcycle has a 12 litre fuel tank and a kerb weight of 201 kg.
