TVS has a strong legacy of supporting aspiring racers in India. The brand continues to maintain its supremacy in the same by introducing a new initiative called the TVS Apache Racing Experience GP Championship. However, it's important to note that the championship is exclusively for the owners of TVS Apache motorcycles.
It follows the brand's commitment to providing a platform for racing enthusiasts to showcase their racing abilities. It is built upon the 'track to road' philosophy as the ARE GP Championship is an extension of the TVS Apache Racing Experience program launched in 2007.
The inaugural season of the ARE GP Championship is set to feature over 1,000 participants from 20 cities across India. However, it also provides an opportunity to receive training from renowned TVS racing veterans such as Aishwarya Pissay, Jagan Kumar, Vorapong Malahuan, and KY Ahamed.
The experienced riders will impart their expertise and mentor the participants. TVS Apache Racing Experience GP Championship is set to begin with the first set of rounds scheduled on July 15 in Vadodara. It will be held at Surat and Hyderabad on July 16. The championship is divided into three categories based on the different models of TVS Apache motorcycles.
Category 1 is dedicated to Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 owners, Category 2 is for Apache RTR 200 4V owners, and Category 3 is exclusive to Apache RR 310 owners. One winner chosen from each category from each city will advance to the final round, which is set to take place in January 2024. During the final round, the riders will showcase their racing skills while riding race-spec 200cc and 310cc Apaches.
The championship's final round will bring together the top riders from each category, providing an exciting and highly competitive environment. The final round in January 2024 will culminate in the championship, with the riders competing astride race-spec Apaches.
TVS is offering some exciting rewards for the Apache Racing Experience GP Championship winner. The champion will get paid trips to watch the MotoGP in Malaysia. The winner will also receive a wild card entry into two rounds of the TVS One-Make Championship with the TVS Apache RR310.
Interested riders can register online through TVS' official website to participate in the ARE GP Championship. TVS has put together a set of rewards for the championship winner, including a MotoGP experience and a chance to compete in the TVS OMC with the RR310. The online registration process allows aspiring racers to enrol and join the competition easily.
