Ola Electric has introduced two new electric scooters, including Gig and Gig Plus. These scooters are designed for commercial use. The Ola Gig electric scooter is priced from Rs. 40,000. Meanwhile, the Gig Plus starts at Rs. 50,000 and offers more advanced features.  These affordable and eco-friendly scooters aim to reduce running costs and improve daily operations. Interested buyers can reserve the Ola Gig or Gig Plus for Rs. 499 on Ola’s website. Deliveries are scheduled to start in April 2025. Let’s look at more details about these scooters.  Impressive FeaturesThese commercial scooters from Ola come with removable batteries. As a result, it becomes very easy for the rider to use it on a regular basis. The Gig version has a 1.5kWh battery that gives a range of 112km. Apart from this, the scooter has a 250W motor that offers a top speed of 25kmph. The Gig Plus uses two 1.5kWh batteries, which offer an overall range of 157km. They feature a more potent 1.5kW motor, reaching top speeds of 45kmph. Additionally, both scooters save 93.4% more money than an ICE scooter for operation on a daily basis. Sleek Design and Practical FeaturesOla Gig has a minimal design with front and rear luggage racks for cargo. In contrast, the Gig Plus includes vibrant body cladding for a more stylish appearance. Both scooters feature 12-inch wheels, telescopic forks, and dual rear springs for a comfortable ride. Ola Electric has launched its new electric scooters S1 Z and S1 Z+ in India. The ex-showroom prices of these scooters are Rs. 59,999 and Rs. 64,999, respectively. The price quoted above is for the one-battery version of the scooter. A customer can pre-book these scooters at a token amount of Rs. 499. Moreover, the deliveries for these Ola scooter will start delivery in May 2025. Ola Electric's new launches aim to provide affordable and eco-friendly mobility options for Indian consumers. Range and Performance HighlightsOla S1 Z and S1 Z+ feature a sleek and futuristic design. They come with LED lights, an LCD screen for all the instruments, and a connection through the Bluetooth app. The models come with a 2.9kW hub motor which is enough to propel the scooters from 0 to 40 kmph in 4.8 seconds. The scooters are available with a 1.5 kWh pack, giving them a 75 km range. Moreover, an extended-range battery pack can offer a 146 km range.  You can also charge both scooter's batteries at home or office using a regular three-pin socket.
