Let's take a look at the highlights!  Upcoming Motorcycles in India: Exciting Unveils and Launches The two-wheeler market in India is ready for exciting changes. Let's see what's coming up for you.  New Honda Activa eWith the Activa e, Honda has at last made its entrance into the Indian electric scooter industry. With two 1.5kWh swappable batteries, this innovative scooter is said to have a 102 km range when fully charged. A 6kW electric motor with a max torque of 22Nm is powered by the batteries. It takes 7.3 seconds to get from 0 to 60 km/h and has a maximum speed of 80 km/h. Pretty impressive, huh? A new Variant is Coming: KTM 390 AdventureKTM is all set to launch the new 390 Adventure at India Bike Week this December. The model, which was first unveiled at EICMA in Italy, will replace the current 390 Adventure in India. KTM plans to offer three models - X, Standard and Premium Adventure R - to suit different budgets. Excited to see them!  New Ola E-scooters: S1 Z and S1 Z+ Ola Electric has launched two new scooters, S1 Z and S1 Z+, priced at ₹59,999 and ₹64,999 respectively. Both models are suitable for city riders and come with a 1.5kWh battery. You can also add a second battery for you to increase the distance. with just one battery The scooter has a range of 75 km which can be extended up to 146 km with the dual battery setup. These scooters are now available for booking at just ₹499. New Adventures Await: Royal Enfield Scram 440Royal Enfield has launched the much-awaited Scram 440 at Motoverse 2024, with plans to launch it early next year. It looks similar to the Scram 411 but has some key upgrades. Including a larger 443cc engine, the new engine produces 25.4 bhp and 34 Nm of torque, combined with a new 6-speed gearbox. Other changes include a smaller clutch. The front brakes are better. Additionally, a stronger chassis will increase carrying capacity.  5 big bikes from Honda are coming soon Honda is gearing up to launch four new big bikes and an adventure maxi scooter in India. Ola Electric has launched its new electric scooters S1 Z and S1 Z+ in India. The ex-showroom prices of these scooters are Rs. 59,999 and Rs. 64,999, respectively. The price quoted above is for the one-battery version of the scooter. A customer can pre-book these scooters at a token amount of Rs. 499. Moreover, the deliveries for these Ola scooter will start delivery in May 2025. Ola Electric's new launches aim to provide affordable and eco-friendly mobility options for Indian consumers. Range and Performance HighlightsOla S1 Z and S1 Z+ feature a sleek and futuristic design. They come with LED lights, an LCD screen for all the instruments, and a connection through the Bluetooth app. The models come with a 2.9kW hub motor which is enough to propel the scooters from 0 to 40 kmph in 4.8 seconds. The scooters are available with a 1.5 kWh pack, giving them a 75 km range. Moreover, an extended-range battery pack can offer a 146 km range.  You can also charge both scooter's batteries at home or office using a regular three-pin socket. Hero MotoCorp has launched its new Vida V2 electric scooters in India. These scooters come in three variants, including V2 Lite, V2 Plus, and V2 Pro. This marks Hero’s entry into the sub-1-lakh EV segment with competitive pricing. The V2 Lite costs Rs. 96,000, while the V2 Plus is priced at Rs. 1,15,000. Moreover, the top model, V2 Pro, is available at Rs. 1,35,000. All prices are ex-showroom and include subsidies. Apart from this, the EV scooters also come in two new colours, including Matte Nexus Blue-Grey and Glossy Sports Red. Battery, Range, and Speed DetailsThe Vida V2 scooters feature advanced removable batteries. The V2 Lite has a 2.2 kWh battery and a 64 km range and a 69 kmph top speed. The another variant, V2 Plus has a 3.44 kWh battery and a 100 km range and an 85 kmph top speed. Apart from these, the V2 Pro has a 3.94 kWh battery and delivers best with 114 km range and a 90 kmph top speed. The batteries are IP67-rated for durability and charge up to 80% in six hours. All scooters are powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. The V2 Pro accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Advanced Features and ConvenienceHero has packed the Vida V2 with modern features for a better riding experience. All models include a 7-inch TFT touchscreen for navigation, telematics, and battery updates. Moreover, Vida V2 scooters feature keyless entry, cruise control, and follow-me-home lights, which add convenience. A regenerative braking system recharges the battery during deceleration. Furthermore, the V2 Pro offers four riding modes, including Eco, Ride, Sport, and Custom. The scooters comes with telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock ensure a smooth ride. The scooters also have alloy wheels, a front disc, and a rear drum brake. Warranty and CompetitionHero offers a five-year or 50,000 km warranty for the scooter and a three-year or 30,000 km battery warranty. Its extensive fast-charging network in 250 cities adds further appeal.
