Okinawa Autotech, a Gurugram-based two-wheeler manufacturer, has introduced its electric scooter Praise with new colour options. Recently, the company inaugurated its R&D Centre in collaboration with Tracita, its Joint Venture. The company will now introduce the Praise models scooters Okinawa PraisePro and Okinawa iPraise+ with eight new colours. These include Electric Green, Ocean Blue, Mauve Purple, Liquid Metal, Military Green, Mocha Brown, Seafoam Green, and Sun Orange colour options.Features of Okinawa Praise Pro and IPraise+The company offers features like all-LED lighting, e-ABS with regenerative braking, a digital console, a USB charging port, and a walk-assist in the PraisePro.The PraisePro can be driven at a top speed of 56 kmph. The PraisePro and iPraise+ appear to be lithium-ion battery-powered electric vehicles. The 2.08KWh battery pack that powers the PraisePro is estimated to have an 81-kilometre range. In contrast, the iPraise+ features a bigger 3.6 KWh battery pack than the PraisePro. The company claims that the Okinawa iPraise Plus is capable of delivering a range of 137 km on a single charge. Additionally, it is stated that both models now adhere to the AIS-156 standard, which is an Indian safety standard for electric vehicles. It can be easily charged in 3 to 4 hours. The company says that the running cost of this electric scooter is only 14 paise per kilometre.The PraisePro and iPraise+ scooters appear to be equipped with a new digital speedometer, which could improve riders' riding experiences. The scooter's other features appear to have been retained.Available Prices in India The price range of the iPraise+ starts at Rs 1,45,965, while the ex-showroom price of the PraisePro is Rs 99,465. The scooters are currently on sale, and interested users can place an order through the Okinawa website or by going to their local India dealership.
