Earlier, the company launched the Freedom 125 CNG bike, which is currently the only CNG-powered motorcycle in India.  The petrol-powered Pulsar NS160 is powered by a 160.3cc air/oil-cooled engine producing 17.2PS and 14.6Nm. While the flex-fuel version may deliver the same power, it may need to be more fuel-efficient. But with ethanol being much cheaper than petrol, the bike can offset this decline in performance.  For some time, the government has been encouraging two-wheeler manufacturers to develop alternative fuel vehicles.
