Honda Two-Wheeler India has expanded its premium bigwing dealership offer to include the Hornet 2.0 and CB200X motorcycles. Previously, Honda's premium lineup at BigWing showrooms began with the CB300F, CB350, H'ness CB350, CB350RS, NX500, Transalp XL750, Africa Twin, etc. The addition of the Hornet 2.0 and CB200X signals a dramatic repositioning by Honda in sub-200 cc models.The move is expected to boost sales among Honda Bigwing dealers by offering a more convenient and affordable model. The Honda Hornet 2.0 is priced at ₹1.39 lakh, and the CB200X at ₹1.47 lakh. For comparison, the next most expensive model available at Bigwing dealers is the CB300F, priced at ₹1.70 lakh. However, please note that all prices are Ex-showroom.Honda Hornet 2.0 The Honda Hornet 2.0, officially launched in 2020 as an evolution of the 160 cc Hornet, features a new exterior naked design with sharp lines and USD headlights. Furthermore, the bike features LED lights and other luxury features on those digital tools that cluster this perfect interior, underbelly pan, and engine. It boasts a kill switch and single-channel ABS, which are standard. The bike features an 184.4 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 17 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 15.9 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Therefore, it has been upgraded to Hornet 2.0 in 2023 to meet the results of the new processing OBD2 compliance standards that have been developed.Honda CB200X The Honda CB200X is an adventure-style motorcycle based on the Hornet 2.0. It shares the same frame and engine as the Hornet 2.0 but has a half fairing, knuckle guards, and new adventure-ready components. The same 184.4 cc engine powers the CB200X, which features USD front forks and a rear monoshock. Honda prices the 2023 Hornet 2.0 at Rs. 1.39 Lakh.Design & SpecificationsThe 184.40cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder BSVI P2 PGM-FI engine still complies with OBD2. The engine is compatible with E20 fuel. The instrument screen will flash a warning in case of any engine trouble. This engine includes a slip & assist clutch, producing 17 horsepower & 15.9 Nm of torque.The Hornet 2.0 has a great style and appearance.
