It is anticipated that Royal Enfield will release the latest iteration of the Bullet 350 in India later this year.
Royal Enfield is currently developing numerous motorcycles to cater to both domestic and global markets. They have recently introduced the Super Meteor 650, which serves as their top-of-the-line cruiser model.
Additionally, the company plans to launch the Himalayan 450 in the latter part of this year, which is a dual-purpose adventure-tourer equipped with a brand-new 450 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine.
There are plans to significantly expand the 450 cc and 650 cc series of motorcycles in the upcoming years, with the possibility of a few 350 cc models being added to the portfolio. All relevant information has been provided here.
The Chennai-based brand, Royal Enfield, has been working on the development of the new generation Bullet motorcycle for an extended period of time. This new model is expected to replace the existing one. As it will be the most affordable option from the brand. Further, it will use the J series platform.
The motorcycle is likely to come with a semi-digital instrument console, optional Tripper Navigation system, and ABS, among other features. The design of the bike is also expected to be updated.
In terms of performance, the 349 cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled OHC engine will be used in this bike. The same engine is already being used in other Royal Enfield models such as the Hunter 350, Classic 350, and Meteor 350. This engine can produce a maximum power output of approximately 20 bhp and peak torque of 27 Nm. Further, it will be paired with a five-speed transmission.
According to reports circulating online, Royal Enfield is in the process of developing a single-seater bobber. This single-seater bike will be based on the Classic 350 model. The bike is likely to feature a circular-shaped halogen headlight with a silver hood. Further, carrying the same teardrop-shaped fuel tank as the Classic 350. Besides, it will have a rear fender that stands out to achieve the bobber look. Lastly, a slightly taller handlebar.
This new model will be a direct competitor to the Jawa 42 Bobber and Jawa Perak. The bike will have telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided shock absorbers at the rear for suspension. Besides, for the braking, it will have disc brakes at the front and rear end. Further, the brakes will be supported by a dual-channel ABS system.
The performance of the bike is expected to be derived from the same 349 cc engine pattern. The bike is anticipated to be released in the coming months.
