TVS has sold over 1.5 lakh iQube units making it the second highest-selling scooter in the country. After the launch of the ST variant was delayed, TVS made a remarkable entry into the EV segment in India.
The iQube launched a few years ago, and since then, it has sold over 1.5 lakh units across the country. It is known for its simple design and excellent performance. The scooter's overall aesthetic appeals to most of the population. Consequently, people of all ages can ride this electric scooter. Additionally, the easy sales and services option makes it easy for Indian customers to decide on adopting Electric Vehicles.
In terms of performance, the TVS scooter provides better engine and battery sizes that are suitable for daily city use. TVS currently sells the iQube in two variants - Standard & S.
However, the company has also revealed 3rd and the most latest iQube ST variant which has a larger battery, more features and is high in performance. It also claims a range of 140 km on a single charge, which is nearly twice the range of 75 km in the first-gen model.
Due to the new FAME II subsidy reduction the launch of which was postponed and will make it available at a higher price. So, it no longer makes sense to introduce the most costly version of the iQube for now.
