Triumph Speed T4 Launched in India: Price Starting From Rs. 2.17 Lakh

Triumph India has launched a new bike called the Speed T4 at a price of Rs. 2.17 lakh. This is now the most affordable Triumph bike you can buy in India. The Triumph Speed T4 is Rs. 17,000 cheaper than the Speed 400. To reduce the price, Triumph has removed some premium features. Apart from this, it competes with other bikes like the Royal Enfield Scram 411 and RE Guerrilla 450.

Engine Performance & Specifications

Triumph Speed T4 comes with a 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled TR-series engine. Triumph has made this engine 10% more fuel efficient than the Speed 400. However, because of this change, the Speed T4 produces a bit power of 30.6 bhp and 36 Nm of torque. The ride-by-wire throttle system is the same. Meanwhile, the Speed T4 top speed is decreased to 135 kmph, which is 10 km/h less than the Speed 400 bike.

Furthermore, the bike has a telescopic fork at the front and a gas-charged monoshock with preload adjustment at the rear end. The Speed T4 has disc brakes at both the front and back with Bybre axial units. The tyres have been switched to more affordable MRF Zapper FX2 rubber.

What are the Design Changes in the New Triumph Speed T4?

Triumph India has kept the Speed T4's design almost the same as that of the Speed 400. It still feels like a premium bike. The sporty bar-end mirrors from the Speed 400 have been replaced with regular mirrors. It is still a good option and might be liked by some Speed 400 owners.

Triumph Speed T4 also comes in three new colors: Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black, and Cocktail Red Wine. Additionally, the seat has been improved with 10 mm thicker foam for more comfort.
