Triumph Daytona 660 Launched in Indian Market: Priced at Rs. 1.72 Lakh

Triumph has launched the new Daytona 660 in India, priced at Rs. 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the only sportbike in Triumph’s current lineup, and you can now book it at Triumph dealerships across India. This motorcycle is based on the same platform as the Triumph Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660

The Daytona 660 has a sporty design with a split LED headlight and a clear windscreen. The bike has a fully faired body, a larger split seat, and a higher rear section. Moreover, the seating position is sporty but also comfortable, which makes it easier to ride for longer periods. It also comes with features like dual-channel ABS and full LED lighting. 
 

Triumph Daytona 660 Engine Performance

The Daytona 660 has the same 660cc engine as the Trident and Tiger Sport, but it’s more powerful. It generates 94bhp @ 11,250rpm and 69Nm of torque @ 8,250rpm. Triumph says that most of the torque is available even at low speeds, starting from 3,125rpm. This gives the bike a quick and sporty feel. The engine can rev up to 12,650rpm. Moreover, the bike also has a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch that offers easier and smoother to change gears.

Triumph Daytona 660 has a 41mm upside-down fork in the front and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload for a smooth ride. Moreover, it has strong brakes with two 310mm front discs and one 220mm rear disc. The bike has 17-inch alloy wheels with Michelin Power 6 tyres. 
 

Furthermore, the Daytona 660 features a colour TFT display with Bluetooth and three riding modes (Sport, Road, and Rain). It also includes a quick-shifter for easy gear changes. Moreover, the bike comes with ABS, traction control, and an emergency braking warning system.
