Suzuki Sales Report May 2024: 1,11,512 Sold & Increased By 22%

In May 2024, Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited saw more sales in the local market compared to both last month and the same month last year. However, exports dropped a lot compared to last year. They sold a total of 1,11,512 units in May 2024, which is 22.12% more than the 91,316 units sold in May 2023. This means they sold 20,196 more units. The Access 125 and Burgman Street scooters are their best-sellers.

Suzuki sold 92,032 motorcycles and scooters in India, which is 37.28% more than the 67,040 sold in May 2023, setting a new record. They sold 24,992 more units locally, making up 82.53% of total sales.

However, exports dropped by 19.76%, with 19,480 units shipped compared to 24,276 units last year, a decrease of 4,896 units. Exports made up 17.47% of total sales.

Comparing sales from April 2024 to May 2024, Suzuki's total sales (domestic + exports) grew by 12.21%, with 12,135 more units sold, increasing from 99,377 to 111,512 units.

Domestic sales went up by 4.50%, from 88,067 units in April to 92,032 units in May. Exports saw a big jump of 72.24%, rising from 11,310 units in April to 19,480 units in May, an increase of 8,179 units.
