Excitement buzzes in the air as Royal Enfield continues testing its upcoming 650cc Scrambler. Judging by the latest sighting of the near-production-ready test model, it seems like the launch might be much closer than we initially thought.
In an interesting move by the brand, this time, we spotted the upcoming Scrambler 650 unmasked. It was seen sporting a finished body panel without any camouflage like seen before. Looking at the bike, it seems evident that it will share the same platform with the Interceptor 650.
Upcoming Royal Enfield Scrambler was spotted rolling on spoked wheels with a 19-17 inch wheel combo wrapped in block-pattern tyres. As for the suspension duties, we can see it sporting an upside-down fork in the front & dual spring suspension in the rear. Excitingly, the Scrambler is expected to feature a suspension setup with increased travel, enhancing its off-road capabilities.
Royal Enfield has also given a thoughtful tweak to the frame, and the iconic dual exhausts of its 650 siblings have made way for a sleek, single-sided, two-into-one exhaust canister.
As for the features, the new Scrambler was seen with the following -
The upcoming RE Scrambler 650 is probably going to be powered by the brand’s trusted 649 cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine. This agile engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox for efficient & accurate power delivery.
Given the details and all the rumours swirling around, Royal Enfield might be planning to unveil the Scrambler 650 in mid-2024. Upon arrival in the market, it will directly compete against the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 650 Scrambler.
Stay tuned for more updates as we eagerly await the official launch of this exciting addition to Royal Enfield's impressive lineup! Till then, don’t forget to read more about the Honda Activa Limited Edition released at Rs 80,734.
