Royal Enfield Hunter 350 records highest-ever monthly sales in May!
Royal Enfield revealed that 77,461 motorcycles were sold in May 2023, with a 22% growth from last year’s sales of 63,643 units of motorcycles in May. The two-wheeler firm sold 4,325 more units in April 2023 than in April 2022. Royal Enfield reported a rise in domestic sales but a decrease in foreign sales. The firm increased its foreign sales by 2,411 motorbikes compared to April 2023. Royal Enfield Hunter 350 also registered record-breaking monthly sales in the market.
The domestic sales of Royal Enfield were 70,795 units, a growth of 32 % from last year's May sales of 53,525 units. The export sales in May the company went down by 34% with 6,666 units compared to the previous year's same month, 10,118 units. The YTD sales of the Royal Enfield, with Cumulative numbers of 1,50,597 units sold between April and May 2023, registered a growth of 20% in 125,798 units sold during the same period last year.
According to CEO Royal Enfield B Govind Rajan, we maintained an excellent momentum at Royal Enfield. Hunter impressed with its performance by registering the highest-ever sales in a month. In addition, the launch of Super Meteor 650 was commendable in the Australian and New Zealand Markets, with a great response from consumers.
The fourth Quarter of FY2023 marks an incredible year as the company registered strong financial growth. The Revenue of the fourth Quarter in 2023 was Rs. 3804.32 crore which was Rs. 3193.32 crore in the fourth Quarter of FY2022. The company marked a net profit of Rs. 906 crores in the March quarter, with a hike of 49%. It shows its strong position in domestic and Global Markets.
Royal Enfield has some new models in the lineup for upcoming releases in the current fiscal year. The lineup includes the most awaited Himalayan 450, a new variant of the J-Platform and the 650 twin model. The forthcoming models can strengthen Royal Enfield's position in domestic and International markets, especially against some of its new rivals.
