Royal Enfield Hunter 450 Spotted Again With New Touring Accessories

Royal Enfield is already working on a number of bikes based on the upcoming Himalayan 450. One of these is a 450 cc roadster; new spy pictures of it are surfacing on the internet. The design of the bike is visible in the pictures.

Design and Style of New Hunter 450 

These new pictures of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450-based roadster reveal some of the bike's aesthetic features and posture. While much of the bodywork is camouflaged, the huge tank shapes like a teardrop. The side panels are modest, and the tail part is comparable to Himalayan 450 test mules.

The combined LED taillight/turn indicator setup seems similar to BMW and looks quite appealing. The spy footage also shows that this roadster has the same LED headlamp as the Super Meteor 650 and the future Himalayan 450. 

Features of the Roadster

The upcoming roadster will be based on the Himalayan 450 platform, showcasing a chassis specifically tailored for its application. While certain modifications are anticipated to suit the roadster style, the overall foundation remains the same. Notably, the test bike reveals a suspension setup comprising a telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, ensuring a balanced and comfortable ride. The Roadster is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends. It is also fitted with road-focused tyres to enhance its on-road performance and handling characteristics.

Considering its lineage in the RE 450 lineup, the roadster is likely to share similar braking hardware with its counterparts. Reliable and efficient braking systems will be employed to ensure adequate stopping power and safety while riding. 

The Engine of the New Hunter 450

The new liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine is similar to the Himalayan 450 with the same power and torque as well. One thing to be seen is whether Royal Enfield provides any gear changes to the motorcycle to make it different from the Himalayan 450.

Upcoming Models of Royal Enfield

The New Roadster could be named Hunter 450 or RE or get a new name. Royal Enfield is also working on some other models, which include Scram 450, and it is expected that more details will be known about it if its testing is done on roads.
