The Royal Enfield Bobber 350 has been observed undergoing testing once again. The recently released spy pictures now provide even more information. This will be Royal Enfield fifth 350cc model. And here is all we know about the model.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350 will be manufactured on the brand’s current platform. Therefore, the model will be powered by the J-series 349cc single-cylinder engine, producing 20.2bhp & 27Nm. In addition, the engine will be paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine has been previously used on the Meteor 350, Classic 350, Hunter 350 & Bullet 350.
However, the chassis might be slightly modified to accommodate the brand-new elements ideal for the Bobber build. For reference, the Bobber's rear floating seat unit appears to be unique & detachable. The handlebar is also noticeably tall, creating an upright rider triangle paired with the forward-set footpegs.
The Bobber might get an LED headlamp as standard, unlike the existing 350s, giving it a more upscale appearance than its siblings. This test bike has more chrome, particularly on the engine & the exhaust system, than previously spotted test bikes.
You can also spot white-walled tyres on both ends while looking closer at the bike. These are wrapped in spoke wheels, similar to the Bullet, Hunter & Classic. However, we can also expect Royal Enfield to offer accessory alloy wheels.
The Bobber 350 may feature a twin-pod instrument console, including Tripper Navigation, along with an LED headlamp. However, going by Royal Enfield’s current pattern, the navigation may be made available as an accessory rather than a standard fitment.
Royal Enfield is expected to make an official announcement by the end of this year. The expected price for Bobber 350 will be more than Rs. 2 Lakhs. However, there is a slight possibility that Bobber is the only one in the 350 cc bikes segment. There might be several other options with similar engine capacity, though.
