Royal Enfield, a Chennai-based 2-wheeler manufacturer, is all geared up to launch the new RE Bullet 350 on September 01 & Himalayan 450 in November 2023. And amid all these new launches, the company has also filed for a new trademark - ‘Guerrilla 450’. This new model might be another version of the new Himalayan 450.
However, apart from the trademarked name, no details are available. But as the name suggests, the Guerrilla 450 might majorly focus on the off-road capabilities and sport updated stylings, new suspension, wire-spoke wheels & tyres with better grip to easily tackle uneven terrain.
Looking at the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the bike will be based on a new lighter platform. It will source power from a new 450 cc engine, which will likely churn out a max power output of 40 BHP & 37 NM peak torque. The RE bike will be tuned to a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.
As for the features, the new Himalayan 450 will be offered with a fully-digital TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lighting & upside-down fork.
It is evident with the upcoming launches of Himalayan 450 & Guerrilla 450 bikes Royal Enfield is shifting its focus on the mid-size bike segment in the Indian market. The market has been witnessing a soaring interest in this segment.
Recently, Royal Enfield shared a post on Instagram, reading, “One name, Nine decades. Millions of stories. A new chapter begins. 01.09.2023". The reel shows multiple names of RE bikes, hinting that the brand is planning to introduce multiple models. The models include Bullet 350, Bullet E, Bullet 500, Bullet Sixty-5 & the Bullet Electra, maybe on September 01.
