NEW Launch Alert! TVS Finally Launches Apache RTR 310 at Rs 2.43 Lakhs!

After a series of spy shots leaked across the internet & company’s aggressive social media campaigns, TVS has finally launched its most-awaited bike - TVS Apache RTR 310. This new bike is a naked version of the fully-faired Apache RR 310. TVS Apache RTR 310 is available for a starting price of Rs 2.43 lakhs in India. 

TVS Apache RTR 310 shares the same 310cc platform that currently is present in 4 other models including - Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 R, GSG 310 RR & G 310. TVS has offered the new model with 3 standard SKUs and 3 BTO (Built-To-Order) customisation options. 

The bookings for TVS Apache RTR 310 are already open, you can go over to their official website to make the reservations with a nominal Rs 3,100 amount. 

TVS Apache RTR 310 is said to be the first of a new generation of the Apache line-up to inherit the 40-year racing pedigree & is exclusively built around the “Track to Road” philosophy. It directly underlines the class-leading performance, advanced features, technologies and looks. 

TVS Apache RTR 310 Design Language

Even though the TVS Apache RTR 310 is a naked Bavarian counterpart of the BMW G 310 R, it shares no design. The TVS model boasts a rather sharp & edgy look with muscular fuel tank extensions and a sleek & angular tail section. Other design features include twin LED headlights, signature DRLs, dynamic lighting, a split-style seat layout with a stepped-up pillion seat, etc. 

However, the exhaust canister of the bike does resemble that of the RR 310 & other 310 models by BMW. As for the colour options, you get 2 exclusive options - Fury Yellow & Arsenal Black. Additionally, you also get a range of accessories options, including - a visor, top box kit, safety gears, knuckle guard, and pannier with this new motorcycle. 

TVS Apache RTR 310 Engine & Gearbox Setup

TVS Apache RTR 310 is powered by the proven 312 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The same engine currently also powers the Apache RR 310 & BMW 310s models. This engine is capable of belting out a maximum power output of 35.6 bhp & 28.7 Nm. The engine is further tuned to a highly responsive 6-speed gearbox via an assist-and-slipper clutch. 

TVS Apache RTR 310 Hardware

The new TVS Apache RTR 310 is designed on a lightweight, aluminium trellis frame, similar to the RR 310. And even though the rear sub-frame is different, it still looks very sporty and shart towards the tail section & the pillion seat. 

The suspension system on the RTR 310 includes an upside-down fork and a monoshock setup. However, the standard model features only rear preload adjustability. The bike rolls on 17-inch wheels that are wrapped in dual-compound radial tyres. 

TVS Apache RTR 310 Riding Ergonomics

As nicknamed by the company, this “street freestyler”, boasts a very comfortable upright riding posture, with a single-piece tubular handlebar & a split-seat setup. The hand levers are adjustable and offer 4 levels for improved accessibility. 

This new bike gets multiple first-in-segment features like -

• Multiway Connectivity including Bluetooth, Smartphone & GoPro
• Voice Assist
• Smart Helmet Connectivity
• Dynamic Brake Lamp
• 5 Riding Modes 

As for the riding aids the company has equipped the bike with  - 

• Glide Through Technology (GTT)
• Race-Tuned Dynamic Stability Control System (RT-DSC) with 6-axis IMU
• Cornering ABS,
• Traction Control
• Cruise Control
• Rear-Lift Protection

Other highlights of this stunner bike include a side stand cut-off, tyre pressure monitoring system & bi-directional quick-shifter. 

TVS Apache RTR 310: Customisation Options

Under the TVS “Built To Order” programme, the newly launched TVS Apache RTR 310 is offered in 3 customisation options - 

• Dynamic Kit (Rs 18,000) - Includes adjustable suspension, (TRMS) & brass-coated drive chain.
• Dynamic Pro Kit (Rs 22,000) - Includes RT-DSC and heated or cooled seats
• Sepang Blue Colour Option (Rs 10,000) - New colour option with TVS Racing livery.
