It was only yesterday when we brought you the exclusive news of Honda soon launching its Transalp 750 in the Indian market. Well, today, the company has officially launched its Transalp 750 in India for an ex-showroom price of Rs 10.99 lakhs. Hero has launched this bike in 2 stellar colour options - Matte Ballistic Black & Ross White.
As for the powertrain details, the newly launched Hero Transalp 750 will be powered by a 755 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is going to make this bike a pure thrill to ride on, with a max power output of 92 bhp & 75 Nm peak torque.
Furthermore, this engine is tuned to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quick shifter. The engine is nestled perfectly in a diamond steel frame suspended by a front USD fork & a monoshock setup. Both suspension components are by Showa and feature preload adjustability.
However, what sets this bike apart is its lithe kerb weight of 208 kg, making it among the lightest multi-cylinder ADV bikes in India. As for the tyres, Honda Transalp 750 features tubed wire-spoke rims of 90/90-21 (front) & 150/70-R18 (rear). Customers get 2 seat height options - 850 mm & lower option as a more accessible option.
In India, you can purchase Hero Transalp 750 for Rs 10.99 lakh. This price is still lower than its current European competitors, including BMW F 850 GS (Rs 12.95 lakh) & Triumph Tiger 850 Sport (Rs 11.95 lakh).
