Upcoming Triumph Thruxton 400 Spotted Testing in India
Upcoming Triumph Thruxton 400 Spotted Testing in India
CalendarPublished on January 13, 2025 by BikeJunction
The Thruxton 400, Triumph's third brand-new motorcycle, has been in development for quite some time. This bike may arrive early next year, as seen by recent sightings during testing in Pune. Moreover, it indicates it is approaching the end of its production phase. Here is what the bike looks like after it was spotted testing once more. What to Expect? The same 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine will power the upcoming Triumph Thruxton 400. Similar to the other present Triumph 400cc models in the market. This engine setup generates 39.5 bhp of power and 37.5 Nm of torque. Additionally, it is coupled to a six-speed gearbox.  In addition, we anticipate traction control, dual-channel ABS, LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument panel, and USB charging ports. Moreover, the USD forks of the test bike aren't as golden-finished as those on the Speed 400. The Thruxton 400 is probably going to be built on a similar bolt-on rear subframe and tubular steel frame as the Speed 400. With dual-channel ABS as standard, it will primarily be equipped with a 300mm front and a 230mm rear disc. According to spy shots, it looks like the bike has 17-inch wheels on both ends. Design and LooksSimilar to the legendary Thruxton of the past, the forthcoming 400cc bike will have a cafe-racer style. It comes with a clean fairing that extends from the headlight to the fuel tank. The bike has an aspirational appearance and is a true vintage motorbike despite its outdated design. Additionally, there are bar-end mirrors and clip-on handlebars with a single grab rail and a single scooped seat in the front. The saree guard that is attached to the bike further solidifies its approval for the Indian market. Nevertheless, it won't be shocking if Triumph introduces the same model in the UK and other countries. Triumph is anticipated to place the Thruxton 400 in the middle between the Scrambler 400 and Speed 400. It can cost around Rs. 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Before you go, check out the BMW and Ducati Upcoming Bike Launches for 2025.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
Five Factors That Make the Triumph Speed T4 Better Than the Triumph Speed 400
Five Factors That Make the Triumph Speed T4 Better Than the Triumph Speed 400
CalendarPublished on January 11, 2025 by BikeJunction
The Triumph Speed T4 is now much more inexpensive than it was previously, thanks to a recent huge reduction of Rs 18,000. Many people believed that the Speed T4 was only a less expensive Triumph Speed 400 once it was first released. The bike, however, is more than that. In this article, we will discuss five reasons why we prefer the Speed T4 to the Speed 400. 5 Things That Make Speed T4 Out StandsThere are a number of benefits that the Triumph Speed T4 has over the Speed 400. The T4 is notable for its emphasis on handling, comfort, and efficiency. Most riders find it to be a more practical option because of its smoother performance and enhanced city riding skills. Improved Grunt on the Bottom EndThe engine is the same for the Triumph Speed 400 and the Triumph Speed T4. On the T4, however, the 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine generates 36 Nm and 30.6 bhp. Compared to Speed 400, this is 1.5 Nm less and has 9 bhp. However, the whole situation is not depicted by the power figures. The engine has undergone several modifications from Triumph, including the addition of a stronger flywheel. The bike's bottom-end torque has been increased as a result. The model is more responsive than the Speed 400 because it has higher torque between 2,500 and 5,500 rpm. When riding in the city, the Speed T4 feels much better than the Speed 400's revvier engine. Tractable EngineTrajectability is another factor that makes the Speed T4 appealing to us. When in fourth gear, the bike may be readily ridden at 30 to 40 kmph. The best thing is that the bike will take up without shaking or banging when you open the throttle at these speeds. The Speed T4's tractability significantly improves performance when cycling in urban areas. Additionally, the rider does not need to continually downshift in order to overtake quickly. Able to Cruise More EffectivelyTriumph replaced the Speed 400's 43-tooth rear sprocket with a smaller, 39-tooth one for the Speed T4. The bike can travel at greater speeds at fewer rpms because of the larger gearing this provides. To give you a realistic idea, the engine revs at around 5,450 rpm while the T4 is travelling at 100 kmph in sixth gear. The engine is running at around 6,150 rpm, which is the same speed as the speed 400. As a result, the Speed T4 feels more at ease and can cruise at faster speeds for longer. Additionally, this implies that the T4 should be more economical, whether travelling through cities or even when cruising on the highway.  More Smoothly Operated ThrottleThe Triumph Speed 400 features a ride-by-wire throttle, but the Speed T4 has a cable-operated throttle body. However, especially at slower speeds, we find that the T4's throttle feels more smoother and more consistent than the Speed 400's. The ride-by-wire throttle on the Speed 400 has several problems, one of which is that it doesn't seem as smooth. The on/off throttle transitions make this evident and leave you wanting more. Consistent ManagementInstead of an inverted fork, the Speed T4 is equipped with a standard telescopic fork. However, this hasn't in any way degraded the handling. The bike is agile enough to manoeuvre through traffic and seems much more predictable. In contrast, the Speed 400 seems a little too fast to manoeuvre. All things considered, the Speed T4 has more handling predictability. In comparison to the Speed 400, it also seems much more relaxed. The Speed T4 had just been ridden by us. We have examined the differences between the Speed T4 and the Speed 400 in further detail in the review. Before you go, check out the Don't Miss These Game-Changing Scooters Launching in 2025!Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
Triumph Rocket 3 Limited Edition Unveiled: New Look and Design
Triumph Rocket 3 Limited Edition Unveiled: New Look and Design
CalendarPublished on December 31, 2024 by BikeJunction
For overseas markets, Triumph has unveiled its new limited edition Rocket 3 models. These bikes, which are offered in R and GT trim levels, are only aesthetically distinct versions of the regular models. These limited editions will be made in honour of the renowned stuntman Evel Knievel. Here are the modifications made to the new Triumph Rocket 3. What’s New?Despite the fact that Rocket is the last motorbike Evel would have used to do his amazing stunts. So, Triumph still opted to decorate it with images reminiscent of his iconic jumpsuit. The chrome-finished fuel tank is detailed with stars and black stripes, as well as the "Triumph" logo.  Triumph has included a unique screen start-up animation. Moreover, there is a gold laser-etched cam cover plate featuring Evel Knievel's signature to demonstrate the authenticity of these bikes. Furthermore, owners of these motorcycles are eligible to receive a hardcover book that tells the stuntman's story. Engine ModificationsBeyond the aforementioned aesthetic modifications, the Triumph Rocket 3 Evel Knievel Edition maintains its powertrain. The motorbike is powered by the same 2,500cc inline three-cylinder engine that produces 165 bhp and 221Nm of torque. Furthermore, this setup is paired with the 6-speed gearbox.  Mechanical Changes and PriceAs with the regular Rocket 3 R and GT, the mechanical parameters are unchanged. The GT leans more towards being a cruiser with a larger flyscreen. A pillion grabs rail and footpegs that are a little more forward-set than the R. Whilst the former is more of a roadster with a neater appearance.  Although the GT costs Rs 22.59 lakh ex-showroom in India, the Triumph Rocket 3 R is priced at Rs 21.99 lakh ex-showroom. India is unlikely to see the new Triumph Rocket 3 Evel Knievel Edition, but it is not impossible. Before you go, check out the Suzuki Reveals its New 2025 Hayabusa in Global Market With Latest Updates.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
