Moreover, Kawasaki Ninja 650 is available in a Lime Green colour option.
Let's talk about what makes the Ninja 650 stand out. Following are the details of the features and specifications of the Kawasaki Ninja 650 bike.
The engine in the Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a liquid-cooled, 649cc, 4-stroke Parallel Twin. The engine can produce a maximum power of 50.2 kW (68 PS) at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 64.0 N.m (6.5 kg.m) at 6,700 rpm.
It has a bore and stroke of 83.0 mm x 60.0 mm and a compression ratio of 10.8:1. The valve system is DOHC with 8 valves. Fuel is injected through two 36 mm throttle valves, and it runs on unleaded petrol with a minimum octane rating of RON91. The ignition is digital, and it starts with an electric system. The transmission is a 6-speed return type.
There's also a Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) system with 2 modes to assist the rider electronically.
Coming to the chassis, the Kawasaki Ninja 650 has a steel trellis frame with a 41mm telescopic fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. With a wheelbase of 1,410 mm, it stays stable during acceleration. Riders will find the 790 mm seat height comfortable for long rides. Despite its sturdy build, it weighs only 196 kg and has a 15-litre fuel tank for longer trips.
The Ninja 650 boasts a 41 mm telescopic fork up front, providing 125 mm of travel for enhanced braking and suspension across varied terrain. At the rear, a Horizontal Back-link with adjustable preload offers 130 mm of travel, enhancing stability and comfort.
Kawasaki's KTRC system boosts sport riding and confidence on low-traction surfaces. It offers two modes to adjust settings and can be turned off. For 35 kW kit models, there's one mode available, along with the option to deactivate it.
The new digital TFT colour instrumentation, a first for Kawasaki in the 650cc class, adds a high-tech touch to the cockpit. It provides a high-grade appearance and includes additional features not found in the previous model.
The instrument panel features built-in Bluetooth technology, allowing riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. By using the "RIDEOLOGY THE APP" smartphone application, riders can access various instrument functions, enhancing their overall motorcycling experience.
The LED headlights on the Kawasaki Ninja 650 include twin lights with both low and high-beam capabilities, along with a position lamp, providing enhanced brightness for improved visibility.
Ninja 650 now comes equipped with the latest Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres, enhancing its already superb handling capabilities.
To comply with BS-6 emissions regulations, the intake and exhaust system components of the Ninja 650 have been updated, resulting in cleaner emissions.
Additionally, the Kawasaki Ninja 650 competes head-to-head with the Honda CBR650R and the upcoming Triumph Daytona 660 in the middleweight sportbike segment.
