    Heavy but Stable

While the Versys 1000 is a bit on the heavier side it feels very stable once you get moving. It's not ideal for quick turns but on straight roads and highways it shines. The bike feels planted at high speeds and is very confidence-inspiring. A solid touring bike overall.

Kawasaki Says Goodbye (For Now) to Versys 1000 in India
Kawasaki Says Goodbye (For Now) to Versys 1000 in India
CalendarPublished on February 12, 2024 by BikeJunction
Kawasaki has removed the Versys 1000 adventure tourer from its Indian website, sparking speculation about its future in the market. While there is no official confirmation yet, sources suggest this move could pave the way for a new, upgraded model expected later this year. The Versys 1000 is known for its smooth, powerful engine and comfortable touring capabilities. This bike was powered by a 1043 cc inline-four engine known for its great cruising abilities but seems to have reached the end of its current Indian chapter.  Despite its touring strengths, including spacious seats, an upright riding position, and adjustable wind protection, the Versys 1000's styling, with its 17-inch wheels and large bodywork, sometimes divided opinions. However, its surprisingly manoeuvrable nature, even in tight spaces, was a point of appreciation. While sales figures weren't exceptional, the Versys 1000 found a niche in the Indian market. Motorcycle enthusiasts eagerly await the next iteration, potentially arriving by year-end. Rumours hint at more features, updated electronics, and possibly an E20-compliant engine to meet emission standards.Kawasaki's decision to remove the Versys 1000 has stirred curiosity and anticipation. Will the new model address the styling concerns? Will it offer advanced features and comply with stricter regulations? Only time will tell. Weekly Two-Wheeler Wrap: Royal Enfield, TVS & Brixton Launches New Bikes & More
CalendarPublished on November 26, 2024 by BikeJunction
This week, the two-wheeler industry saw exciting launches and important updates for bike lovers. The brands are bringing something for everyone. Royal Enfield introduced the Goan Classic 350, while Brixton entered India with four new bikes. These launches highlight a growing focus on modern retro designs and advanced features. Let’s know more in details:  Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 launched Royal Enfield has just launched the Goan Classic 350 at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2.35 lakh in Indian market. This premium bike equips new features and more from the Classic 350. The all-new bike from the brand comes with a bobber design with a single seat and raised handlebars. An extra seat at the back is available as an option for that vintage appeal. Furthermore, it features LED headlights, painted wire-spoke wheels, and stylish white-wall tubeless tyres. The bike comes in four vibrant colours, including Purple Haze, Rave Red, Shack Black, and Trip Teal. Brixton Motorcycles launched 4 New Bikes Brixton has launched four new bikes in India, including Cromwell 1200, Cromwell 1200 X, Crossfire 500 X, and Crossfire 500XC. These bikes blend retro styling with modern features and powerful engines. Moreover, their deliveries begin in January 2025. Cromwell 1200: Rs 7.84 lakhScrambler Cromwell 1200 X: Rs 9.10 lakhCrossfire 500XC: Rs 5.19 lakhCrossfire 500 X: Rs 4.74 lakh Royal Enfield GT750 Spotted Royal Enfield is testing a new 750cc cafe racer in Chennai. The motorcycle sports a semi-faired design, clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs for that sporty touch. Its distinctive Monza-style front fairing and redesigned fuel tank add charm. Additionally, this new bike by Royal Enfield will have dual front disc brakes, alloy wheels, and traditional telescopic forks. It will also boast chrome indicators, black twin exhausts, and a single-pod digital display. The launch is likely in 2026-27. TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Launched This week TVS has launched the newest version of the Apache RTR 160 4V for Rs. 1,39,990. In the newest model, the bike comes in three new colours, including Granite Grey, Matte Black, and Pearl White. Apart from this, it features new golden USD front forks and red alloy wheels that add a premium touch. Furthermore, the bike retains its sporty look, which is popular among young riders. The 37mm USD forks improve handling and reduce unsprung weight. It also has a monoshock rear suspension and disc brakes at both ends. These updates make it stylish and better to ride. VLF Tennis Electric Scooter Launched Italian brand Velocifero has launched the VLF Tennis electric scooter in India for Rs 1.30 lakh. It is locally made in Kolhapur by KAW Veloce Motors, and deliveries will start on November 25. Moreover, the scooter has a sleek, compact design with a rectangular LED headlight and weighs just 88 kg. It offers a 2.5 kWh removable battery with a 130 km range and a 1.5 kW hub motor. The top speed is 65 kmph, and charging takes three hours. Kawasaki Dropped Price of ZX-10R Kawasaki has dropped the price for the Ninja ZX-10R by Rs. 1.14 lakh last week. This makes the motorcycle price at Rs. 17.34 lakh now. Moreover, this Ninja bike has finally become more affordable and an even better value-for-money proposition than before. Its price was earlier close to the BMW S 1000 RR, which made it less desirable. Kawasaki thus hopes that this discount will attract more buyers for the popular supersport. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the comparison between the two best bikes in the 160cc category.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
