Jonty Rhodes, the fielding coach of Lucknow Super Giants, was spotted on Lucknow roads riding a Shotgun 650 bike during IPL 2024. The LSG’s coach loves Royal Enfield bikes, and he's not shy about it. He recently posted a photo with a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 on social media. But now, he has taken it up a notch by choosing a Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 priced between Rs 4.10 and 4.25 Lakh while going for IPL 2024 practice sessions.
Moreover, he likes to share his excitement on Twitter. Jonty Rhodes wears a matching blue Royal Enfield half-face helmet with his bright blue Lucknow Super Giants jersey. He looks really happy as he rides the one-seater motorcycle through the city.
Jonty Rhodes shared a tweet on March 23, writing, "Since my first #IPL, I have always been a massive fan of the @royalenfield #classic. Just ask @sidlal (Siddhartha Lal, CEO of Royal Enfield); he has the picture to prove it! However, I rode the #Hunter350 back from practice at #EkanaStadium last night, and today, I am torn between the 2 #MakeInIndia #2wheelerlove (sic)."
Rhodes chooses to ride through Lucknow's streets rather than take the bus. This shows he likes excitement and has a different way of looking at life. By using local transportation and being part of the city's culture, Rhodes makes his IPL experience special.
