2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 Revealed: New Look and Better Features

Husqvarna recently presented the new 2025 Vitpilen 801 motorcycle on October 2, 2024. It will attract riders with classic style paired up with more performance. Furthermore, it brings fresh design updates while keeping the distinct Husqvarna look. It compromises a powerful 799 cc engine and the newest technology that assures some real fun and stylish rides. Let’s explore what makes this bike stand out.

What Are the New Features and Design Changes?

This new Vitpilen 801 has a unique bi-LED headlight with an oval LED daytime running light (DRL), giving it a bold look. The fuel tank has sharp lines, matching Husqvarna’s modern design style. One of its standout features is the sleek side panel, which connects smoothly to the tail section, making the bike look sleek.

The bike has a 799cc parallel-twin engine, and it delivers 105bhp at 9,250 rpm and 87Nm at 8,000 rpm. Additionally, it comes with a six-speed gearbox and is known for its strong sound. Moreover, its powerful mid-range performance makes it exciting to ride.

Moreover, the steel chassis is paired with an adjustable WP Apex suspension and a rear monoshock for smooth handling. The bike rides on 17-inch Michelin Road 6 tyres. It also comes with twin front disc brakes and a rear disc, providing solid stopping power.

Additional Features and Technology

The Vitpilen 801 is packed with the latest features, such as:

  • Different riding modes
  • Cornering traction control
  • ABS with Supermoto mode, which allows you to lock the rear brake for slides.

You can control these features through a 5-inch Bluetooth-enabled TFT display. Riders can also connect their phones with the Ride Husqvarna app.

How Does It Compare to Other Models?

Husqvarna has released this new model following the Svartpilen 801. The Vitpilen 801 replaces the older Vitpilen 701 and has a more naked bike style. The new bike features the same engine and performance figures as the Svartpilen.

The engine weighs just 52 kg, and it has a semi-dry-sump lubrication system for efficiency. The bike also promises a long service interval of 15,000 km.
