2024 Kawasaki Eliminator 400 New Variants Unveiled | Here’s What They Offer

Kawasaki has unveiled new variants of its popular Eliminator 400 cruiser motorcycle in Japan, offering riders more choices in terms of style and features.

The new models include the Eliminator SE and Eliminator Plaza Edition, which join the existing Standard Eliminator.

So, What's New?

• New Design: The SE and Plaza Edition boast exclusive body panels and color options, with the Plaza Edition featuring Pearl Storm Grey and Pearl Sand Khaki shades and the SE sporting dual-tone options like Metallic Flat Spark Black/Metallic Matte Dark Green and Phantom Blue/Ebony. The SE also gets a stylish headlight cowl for added flair.
• Enhanced Features: Both the SE and Plaza Edition receive a USB Type-C charging socket for convenience and a GPS-compatible front and rear dual-channel dash camera system for safety and peace of mind.
• Unchanged Performance: Despite the new bells and whistles, the core of the Eliminator remains the same. All models retain the 399cc parallel-twin engine producing 48 bhp and 37 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Launch and Pricing:

The new Eliminator models are currently only announced for the Japanese market, with an official launch scheduled for March 23rd, 2024.

While pricing hasn't been confirmed, similar updates are expected in the Indian market, where the Standard Eliminator currently starts at Rs. 5.62 lakh (ex-showroom).

Overall, the expansion of the Eliminator 400 lineup provides riders with more options to personalise their cruising experience, offering a balance of performance, style, and technology in the sub-500cc segment.
