KTM has updated its recent bike, the 200 Duke, for the year 2023. The only change it has come with is the inclusion of the OBD2 system in consent with phase 2 of BS6 emission norms, While the rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged. Let's see what this 200 cc naked street bike has to offer as a package.
KTM brought a variety of changes in the colour as released by 200 Duke in September last year. The motorcycle is now available in Dark Silver Metallic and Electronic Orange paint colours. In the meantime, the design remains the same for its greater 250cc and 390cc variants. The 200 Duke, with its sharp design and range of colours available, adds to its overall value.
The vibrant cuts and unique finishes enhance the bike's young and attractive look, making it a popular choice among riders who value both style and performance. Overall, the 200 Duke presents an excellent example of how design and aesthetics play a significant role in motorcycle appeal, and its sharp looks have made it a standout motorcycle in a highly competitive market.
The cyclic parts of the 200 Duke are of premium quality for displacement. The bike's WP Apex suspension setup, featuring 43 mm upside-down forks in the front and a 10-step preload adjustable mono shock at the rear, is certainly impressive for its segment. This setup provides riders with excellent handling and control, allowing them to navigate through twists and turns with ease.
In addition to the suspension setup, the bike's braking hardware is also noteworthy. The single disc with ByBre callipers at both ends provides ample stopping power, while the dual-channel ABS enhances safety by preventing the wheels from locking up during sudden braking. Overall, the combination of premium cycle parts and advanced braking technology on the 200 Duke makes it a highly capable and desirable motorcycle for riders who focus on performance and safety.
The Ex-Showroom price of Duke 200 is approximately 1.92 lakh in Delhi. It competes with Yamaha R15 V4, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, Royal Enfield Classic 350 and QJ Motor SRC 250 in terms of price.
The 200 Duke competes with several other bikes in India. Its body style and displacement match with the TVS Apache RTR 200, Honda Hornet 2.0 and Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. Each of these bikes offers unique features and benefits, which were carefully considered by riders to choose the best bike that matches their needs and preferences.
