KTM 250 Adventure OBD2 is available in a single variant for Rs. 2,46,651 with two colour options in India. The 2023 KTM 250 Adventure OBD2 is a promising option for adventure seekers and off-road riders looking for a capable and affordable adventure bike.

Mechanical specifications of KTM 250

The KTM 250 Adventure OBD2 comes with a 248.8 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with a Bosch electronic fuel injection system that produces a maximum power of 30 hp at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 24 Nm at 7500 rpm. It features a six-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch mechanism for smooth gear shifts and better control. It has a 6-speed, claw-shifted transmission with a Wet, multi-disc slipper, and hydraulically actuated clutch.

Features of 2023 KTM 250 Adventure

The 2023 KTM 250 Adventure has a full-LED headlight, a digital instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS, a halogen headlight with LED DRLs. The digital instrument cluster displays speed, engine rpm, fuel level, gear position, and trip meter information. The bike also features a range of advanced electronics, including ride-by-wire, a slipper clutch, and a 12V power socket.

The KTM 250 Adventure also comes with accessories such as panniers, a top box, and crash guards, which can be added to enhance its touring capabilities. Overall, the bike is designed to offer a comfortable and capable adventure riding experience with its advanced features and powerful engine.

Design and Style of KTM 250 Adventure

The 2023 KTM 250 Adventure retains its signature styling cues, including the single-pod headlight, short windscreen, 14.5-litre fuel tank, split-style seat, and side-slung exhaust. The bike also features 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, designed to balance on-road and off-road performance.

The bike is available in two colours - KTM Factory Racing Blue and Electronic Orange, both of which are striking and add to the bike's sporty and adventure-oriented appearance.

Hardware of KTM 250 Adventure

The KTM 250 Adventure features a high-quality suspension system designed to provide a comfortable and stable ride on and off the road. The motorcycle is equipped with a 43 mm WP Apex upside-down fork at the front and a WP Apex mono-shock at the rear.

The WP Apex fork is a premium component with excellent performance, stability, and comfort. The fork is fully adjustable, meaning the rider can adjust the compression, rebound, and preload to suit their riding style and preferences. The 43 mm diameter of the fork tubes also ensures stiffness and precision, even when riding on rough terrain.

The WP Apex mono-shock at the rear is also a fully adjustable unit. It provides 177mm of travel, which helps to absorb the impacts of rough terrain and ensures a comfortable ride. In addition, the mono-shock is designed to work in conjunction with the fork to provide a balanced and predictable suspension system. The KTM 250 Adventure has a kerb weight of 177 kg. The kerb weight includes all fluids, such as fuel, oil, and coolant, as well as other components that contribute to the overall weight of the motorcycle.

Price and Competitors of KTM 250 Adventure 

The bike has been priced at Rs. 2,46,651 (ex-showroom); it has a marginally higher cost than the previous version. It is expected to attract adventure enthusiasts and off-road riders in the country. The 2023 KTM 250 Adventure OBD2 will face tough competition in the Indian Market from other adventure bikes like BMW G 310 GS, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Honda CB500X, and Suzuki V-Strom 250 in the same segment.
