Honda Unveils 2025 CL500 Scrambler at EICMA
Honda Unveils 2025 CL500 Scrambler at EICMA
CalendarPublished on November 14, 2024 by BikeJunction
The 2025 Honda CL500 scrambler was unveiled at EICMA 2024, marking the brand's comeback into the scrambler segment. Powered by a 471cc parallel twin, the CL500 combines retro-inspired styling with modern performance.  It embodies long-travel suspension and knobby tyres and maintains a comfortable riding position suitable for everyday use. This scrambler boasts a classic design enhanced with modern features such as its digital display and advanced safety options. As such, the CL500 should appeal to riders who are looking for versatility and style. Quick Highlights:New colour options: Pearl Dusk Yellow, Brown.Improved ergonomics with reduced 790mm seat height.Updated engine with Euro 5+ compliance.Enhanced acceleration with a new 41-teeth sprocket.Modern features: LED lighting, LCD dash, ESS.Honda unveiled the 2025 CL500 scrambler at EICMA 2024, featuring updated aesthetics and improved ergonomics for enhanced comfort. Colour Updates, Ergonomic Enhancements, and Mechanical TweaksThe new additions for 2025 in terms of colour also include Pearl Dusk Yellow and Matt Fresco Brown, which complement the current range. More importantly, the bike now comes with a bigger 12-litre fuel tank, which, with a newly redesigned upswept exhaust of dual ports, gives the bike a little panache. The bike also has ergonomic features—the seat height is reduced to 790mm, thus providing better riding postures, thanks to footpegs that have been moved forward. Mechanically, the CL500 stays the same as its 471cc parallel-twin engine. Still, updated fuel mapping and an improved intake system are part of the updates, ensuring it conforms to Euro 5+ emissions standards. The rest of the engine is the same, producing 45.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 43.4Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. Honda has, though, altered the rear sprocket from 40 to 41 teeth, which helps a little to provide acceleration for a slightly more responsive ride. The CL500 comes with full LED lighting, a new LCD dash for better readability, and an Emergency Stop Signal. The motorcycle is scheduled to hit the international markets very soon; it remains to be seen whether it will find a market opening here in India. Before you leave, have a look at the Vespa Unveils the 2025 GTS 310.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb   Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta   Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
Honda CL300 Scrambler Receives Patent in India, Launch Anticipated
Honda CL300 Scrambler Receives Patent in India, Launch Anticipated
CalendarPublished on May 22, 2023 by BikeJunction
CL300 has a similar design to the larger CL500 and the same 286cc engine as Rebel 300Honda has patented the design of the CL300 scrambler motorcycle in India. The CL300 is a smaller variant of the CL500 scrambler, which was unveiled at EICMA the previous year. The CL300 shares its main frame with the Rebel 300 and is powered by the same 286cc engine found in the CB300R, albeit with 5hp less power. The motorcycle features a 19-inch/17-inch alloy wheel set-up.Potential Launch of Honda CL300 in the Indian MarketHonda has a history of patenting the designs of overseas models in India and doing it for years. While there is no official confirmation from the company, some factors suggest Honda might consider launching the CL300 in the Indian market. One of the main reasons is that the 286cc engine used in the CL300 is already sold in India in the CB300R, although with slightly higher power output. Additionally, in markets where both bikes are available, the CL300 tends to be priced slightly lower than the CB300R.Price of Honda CB300RHowever, Honda has managed to localize the CB300R to some extent in India, allowing them to offer it at a competitive price of Rs. 2.77 Lakh, Ex-Showroom, New Delhi. Honda wants to achieve similar pricing for the CL300, to undertake a similar level of localization, which involves  sourcing components and vendors and setting up an assembly line. The popularity of scrambler motorcycles in the Indian market could potentially drive Honda to invest in bringing the CL300 to India. However, without any official communication from the company, it is difficult to determine their plans. Only time will reveal whether Honda decides to launch the CL300 in India or not.Check the link for the latest News: Ducati India Completed 10 Years of OperationsAre you searching for a new bike? Explore bikejunction & compare your choice of bike, we will help you out with a bike loan. Select your bike according to category and other specifications on Bike Junction with just one click.
