Honda Goldwing And CBR1000RR Bikes Recalled In India : Here’s All You Need To Know

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is recalling its premium motorcycles, the Honda Goldwing and the CBR1000RR, in India. This recall is similar to the one Honda announced internationally a month ago. The company has found an issue with the fuel pump in these bikes. They say that the fuel pump part might not have been made correctly, which could cause it to fail.

This problem could cause the engine to stop working while riding or make it hard to start. The affected Goldwing bikes were made between December 2017 and December 2023. Moreover, the CBR1000RR’s affected bikes were made between September 2017 and April 2020.

Honda will fix this issue for free at their BigWing Topline dealerships across India. If you have one of these Honda motorcycles, you can check if it's affected by entering its VIN on Honda BigWing India's website. This will tell you if it needs to be fixed.

“The inspection and replacement will be done free of cost irrespective of the warranty status of the vehicle. As soon as the parts are available, we will notify you about parts replacement.”
