Rumours say Honda is working on a next-generation 750 cc sportbike which will be based on the Transalp Adventure motorbike and the all-new CB750 Hornet naked. The bike will allegedly be named following the brand’s sportbike catalogue, CBR750R.We aren’t surprised by this, though. Multiple brands have been using their single platform to cover a wide range of motorbikes for years now. So it actually makes sense for Honda to get on this boat as well. Especially when its 750 cc platform has been recognised by journalists globally, credits to its potency and versatility. And, even though Honda already has a 650 cc in-line 4 engine, the parallel-twin platform is rather different in terms of character and frugality.
