This resulted in an 8.51% decline in YoY growth. This is a 4.53% decline from the 349,784 units they sold in September 2023. However, their market share increased by 4.35%. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India came in second, selling 271,390 units in September 2024. This is a 22.96% decline from the 352,254 units they sold in September 2023. Their market share also declined by 15.79%. TVS Motor Company Ltd was third, selling 221,257 units in September 2024 compared to 229,381 units sold in September 2023. Their sales declined by 3.54%, and the market share increased by 5.43%. Bajaj Auto Ltd showed a 5.32% decline in sales, selling 141,668 units in September 2024 compared to 149,633 last year. Its market share increased slightly to 3.49%. Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a decent growth of 0.61% YoY, with 74,287 units sold in September 2024, compared to 73,837 in September 2023. Suzuki’s market share also rose to 9.97%. Royal Enfield motorcycles experienced a 10.37% decline in sales, with 57,504 units sold in September 2024, down from 64,159 last year. Its market share decreased to 2.03%. Yamaha India sold 50,065 units in September 2024, which is a 0.86% increase from 49,639 units in September 2023. Moreover, their market share increased to 10.24%.  In September 2024, Ola Electric reported total sales of 24,679, a whopping 31.90% increase compared to September 2023 sales of 18,711 units. Moreover, the company also gained a 44.17% market share rise.  Ather Energy Pvt Ltd sold 12,718 units in September 2024. For comparison, the company registered sales of 7,195 units in September 2023, reporting an increase of 76.76%. Moreover, on the market share front, the company also experienced an increase of 93.21% this month. Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd clocked in a total sales unit of 2,777 in September 2024, as compared to 3,613 units sold in September 2023. Due to this, the company saw a decline of 23.14% this month. Apart from this, the company also experienced a decline in its market share by 15.99% for September 2024.  Piaggio sold 2,562 units in September 2024, a 13.27% decrease from the 2,954 units sold in September 2023. The company’s market share also dropped slightly to 5.20%. Classic Legends, which offers retro-style motorcycles, sold 2,125 units in September 2024. This represents a 14.42% decline from the 2,483 units sold in September 2023. Their market share also fell to 6.46%. Bgauss Auto Private Limited Sold 1,237 Units in September 2024 compared to 935 Units last year in the same month. This is 2.87% more than the 348,613 units they sold in August 2023. However, their market share dropped by 3.21%. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India came in second, selling 352,605 units in August 2024. This is a 13.37% increase from the 311,026 units they sold in August 2023. Their market share grew by 6.67%. TVS Motor Company Ltd was third, selling 236,597 units in August 2024 compared to 225,576 units sold in August 2023. Their sales increased by 4.89%, and the market share decreased by 1.31%. Bajaj Auto Ltd showed a marginal 0.35% growth in sales, selling 149,031 units in August 2024 compared to 148,516 last year. Its market share dropped slightly to 5.58%. Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a strong growth of 14.12% YoY, with 79,307 units sold in August 2024, compared to 69,492 in August 2023. Suzuki’s market share also rose to 7.38%. Royal Enfield motorcycles experienced an 8.06% decline in sales, with 54,810 units sold in August 2024, down from 59,612 last year. Its market share decreased to 13.49%. Yamaha India sold 51,996 units in August 2024, which is a 4.12% increase from 49,937 units in August 2023. However, their market share declined to 2.03%.  In August 2024, Ola Electric reported total sales of 27,517, a whopping 46.76% increase compared to August 2023 sales of 18,750 units. Moreover, the company also gained a 38.08% market share rise.  Ather Energy Pvt Ltd sold 10,830 units in August 2024. For comparison, the company registered sales of 7,157 units in August 2023, reporting an increase of 51.32%. Moreover, on the market share front, the company also experienced an increase of 42.38% this month. Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd clocked in a total sales unit of 2,816 in August 2024, as compared to 2,926 units sold in August 2023. Due to this, the company saw a decline of 3.76% this month. The rise in July sales was due to high demand and more choices of two-wheelers in India. In the two-wheeler segment, a strong rural economy, favourable monsoon conditions and government policies to boost rural income generated significant growth. New product launches and inventory growth in the 19th century further supported this development. Despite challenges such as a sluggish market, heavy rains and increased competition in some sectors, the sector has prospered. The company reported total sales figures of 41,624 in July 2024, marking an amazing growth of 114.4% compared to June 2023 sales figures of 19,406 units. Moreover, the brand also gained a rise in its market share of 2.88%.  ATHER ENERGY PVT LTD took second place after Ola Electric by selling 10,087 units in July 2024.
